Outside of Ed McCaffrey, what pro wide receivers has Stanford University produced?
Exactly!
Get him with a professional wide receiver coach and see what he can do.
Simi is Coming to America's Team!
The royal hoohah is clean.

I think he will be on the ps this season. Most likely makes the 53 next year when Gallup moves on.

WR Simi Fehoko, Stanford;
Drafted 5th Round
– 6-4, 230 and runs a 4.37

Some comments From Ourlads Draft:

-Used in a various ways, outside WR, deep go routes, slot WR, goal line jump balls, used as a Noah Brown type role at times, digging out blocks vs LBs as a motion HB.

- Only started one year, and displayed invaluable ability on special teams.

- Most big plays came from slot spot. Matchup nightmare in slot or bunched formation

- Described a long strider that eats up a lot of cushion in a hurry.
- Smooth, intelligent, deceptively athletic.
- Extremely violent hands at the top of his routes.

- Will need to work on neck-shoulder dexterity (dipping and swiveling hips and shoulders
to “ sell” his routes)
- Struggles with the more elite CBs at the top of his routes,
- Third/Fourth Round.

Me:
- I heard a You Tube Podcaster called Simi a “ bigger Cole Beasley “ but he doesn’t look near that fluid, smooth or change of direction foot quick.as Beasley.

- Ironically I heard Isiah Stanback on a Cowboys podcast say per OTA observations that Simi
doesn’t look “ fluid”...

From just his “ highlights” I can see Simi use his big body and arm stretch to snare contested
passes away from coverage guys, and he gain a few inches from some in the vertical game.

I think he is more of a developmental replacement for Michael Gallup. Very raw in his route running, but can be a good vertical option right away. Don't see him as a Beasley type of player, but more of an outside receiver who can stretch the field.

Tony Hill?

Didn't James Lofton go there?
I've never understood using a player's college to determine if they'lll be good in the NFL. It just doesn't make sense. Larry Allen came from Sonoma St. Cooper Kupp came from Eastern Washington. Adam Thielen from Minnesota St-Mankato. Golladay from Northern Illinois, Antonio Brown from Central Mich, Tyreek Hill from Western Ala.

Maybe some time on the PS but he's not 53-man roster material for the Cowboys.

-----If he’s Miles Austin, we struck gold, especially if his hammies aren’t porcelain.

Miles got a huge contract based on two (2) missed tackles in a game at KC....he then went on to STEAL money his last 2+ seasons in Dallas....I want much better than Miles Austin....he was JAG!!!

dunno what you're talkin' about ,,,,-i nelieve miles also had a season where he led NFC in receiving yards ..and had 2 pro bpwl seasons,,..
considering all that from coming from an undrafted free agent from " Monmouth" college,,,but yet you say he was JAG ..?

We have several promising players with raw talent who might easily get cut, go elsewhere and tear up the league! Here's hoping we'll see the good in them from the start and make the most of it before some other team gets a chance to. Guys like Simi and Vasher are good examples of that.
Of course that's what the Jones bogan's do - get great players AND let them be stolen by other teams or bench them because he wants to play his expensive guys even if they play WORSE

I won't go so far as to suggest Simi and Vasher are better than the starters we have in place. They should simply be given a decent opportunity to prove themselves. Whether it possible to make that happen and still be attentive to allow our starters to get satisfactorily attuned to the kind of preparation they'll need remains to be seen. I'm just not in favor of allowing them to languish on the bench without a fair shot to succeed.

I AGREE. But even IF they got a fair shot and were BETTER, they'd never be allowed to play over a money guy. Never. Ever. One reason this org sux and has 26 years of rubbish. All because of the owner.

I've heard it said around the NFL that Simi may be the BEST receiver in the draft PERIOD.. Laugh if you may, but some say he may turn out to be the steal of the draft. Bookmark I said this, go ahead do it!
He may be, but how is he gonna get on the field? You think Gallup, Lamb or Cooper are giving him reps during game time? Ill get excited about him when I see him looking like Jerry Rice or Randy Moss in an actual game.

https://247sports.com/college/stanf...-yard-dash-437-time-wide-receiver--162628419/

Here's some proof for those casting doubts about his 40 time- here's his Pro Day 40 times in video above .....
Not trying to argue with you but if that guy has all the attributes cited in this thread and also runs a 4.3, he would have had a much higher grade.

Of course I hope he is all that and some, but I've seen way too many project type WR over the years that many, including myself, were all hyped over and didn't even come close to working out.

That said, again...I welcome try hard guys. Probably much more than the team does, as that's exactly what Bernard and Anae are and they get passed over.

As I continue to babble....if no one gets hurt, only WR5 is in question...and at least one gunner is spoken for in Goodwin.

I'd give Fenohko more of a shot if Wilson wasn't such a good ST player.

However, based on the Broaddus and McClay info....he probably isn't someone you can sneak onto the PS.
