I am way out of the loop now, but back when I cared more, it was possible to "root" the android phones, and take much more control over the OS, including forced updates. Pretty easy to do.

I did sign up to receive obscene phone calls, you don't think that's what he keeps trying to do, do you? I specifically selected Nasty Women, All Races but who would name a girl Spam?

Hell, I don't even name my cans of Spam, Spam. I prefer more festive names like Dasher, Donner, Cupid, Blitzen, Crystal and Tiffany.

The girl is Swedish, and it's pronounced Spaahm. That should keep ya busy for about 15 or 20 minutes a day.

Android. I'll never own an Apple product. There are a multitude of reasons and I don't feel like going over them.

True but i personally use a pc for that ..all i need is terminal and a web browser ..I like to simplify my life..I control my work i don't let work control me by being connected all the time... maybe I am suffering from technology overload

understood...I tell my clients email or direct phone for communication ( short and sweet)... .
.I am aware of these type of payments but I don't use none of them..I still use cash / checks or money transfer from the bank ...online if i have to i use prepaid cards or paypal

I would give up having a cell phone before buying an iPhone.

I haven't bought anything from Apple since buying an ipod many years ago. I would love to see Apple crash and burn for reasons I cant discuss.

Librem 5 or Pine Phone are good alternatives .....also Ubuntu Touch is great choice (only for supported phones ) and it is free

I had Androids my entire life and switched to iphone. It's not even worth debating in my personal opinion. I think it just depends on the person.
It's much faster, not glitchy, great audio/video, the battery lasts forever and charges quickly. The camera is ridiculously great. I love that you can text using WiFi. My sis has an older iphone, I think a 6 or 7 and it still performs great. I got tired of the droids getting slow in a couple of years. So while it's more expensive, it will last longer so you're not really saving anything. Not to mention that I use it constantly for work and it hasn't disappointed once. The price is relative. The best Androids are just as expensive.
