I'd rather NOT be the top ranked offense.

That's based on yardage only.

That probably would indicate being behind often enough to need to throw often enough to play catch up.

Let's play some defense and win some games. Leave the rankings to the talking heads who would run out of info each Wednesday without them.

Well that’s one of the most ridiculous things I’ve heard in a long time. All teams often have to play catch up including KC and TB. Also the yardage includes not only passing yards but rushing yards as well. KC had the top offense last year and they made it to the SB.

Find me the last team that led the league in total offense on the back of their rushing game.

Big yard totals mean you're passing a lot.

Passing a lot means you're probably behind a lot....although I will concede that in today's league OCs can't seem to help themselves from passing even when ahead.

Your issue with my post is semantics.

I care more about winning games than some ranking.
