Reason to worry about Kelvin Joseph?

Joseph's tweet has me concerned. What does he mean about the ones around him? Is he referring to the Cowboys? That would be a bad thing if he is. Maybe this kid is am immature as some said he was before the draft.

All will be forgiven once he takes one of Daniel Jones passes for a Pick 6…

Or Mr. Fat, if he would prefer.

Could be nothing. Could be the start of what LSU and Kentucky already know.

This won't end well. I'd stake every like on it.

For these reasons, I've never really liked the pick, especially in the 2nd round when some had Kelvin Joseph rated no higher than the 3rd round.

When a player continuously finds "reasons" to miss football practice, it's a sign of how they truly feel about playing the game.

Maybe he was negotiating his contract and didn’t go to practice in the meantime. We will see. Hopefully it’s nothing negative for his absence.

How are you not stoked about that Pollard tidbit. Shouldn't Cooper and Lamb be scared?

I have no problem with the media asking the question, I'm just not keen on the commentary about him needing all the reps he can get and Anthony Brown being the favorite to start. To me that comes off as a suggestion that there may not be a good reason for missing those reps, and that Joseph is acting a manner that is clearing the way for Brown to start. Those are tricky little media gimmicks to add some controversy to a story to spice it up.
pretty sure Brwon.Lewis started over Diggs the first part of the season, pretty common for rookies to be eased in..and again kneejerk bs reactions around here..

i think it so crazy all those saying Wright was huge mistake and all hes getting is rave reviews from practice..

oh wait its only the negative tweets coming out of practice that are believable n ot the good ones..hmm

the positive ones are considered media fluff homerism but negative ones are all believable..

Yeah I wouldn't read too much into Brown starting at the other outside CB spot. I suspect if Joseph was at OTAs today, Brown would still be starting. People have to remember that Joseph has an elite skill set but he's a raw player with limited college time under his belt. So don't be surprised if Brown starts the season as outside CB opposite Diggs.

That being said, these are OTAs. Every year, a couple of young guys or FA additions shine in OTAs and then you never hear from them again. I'd be a bit hesitant to plant the flag on Wright based on a couple of OTAs.

I said that I thought our starting 3 corners are Lewis, Brown and Diggs.

Its a tall task to ask Joseph to be ready RIGHT NOW. he has all of training camp to make his mark and even then I expect him to take a backseat to the veterans. Let's remember that yes Joseph has a ceiling of a 1st round talent but he's far from that now....well...maybe not far from it but he's nowhere near his ceiling.

He doesn't get paid until the season kicks off. So maybe those around him are more interested in his money instead of him.

Has nothing to do with his teammates.

KJ needs to be on his grind, all the time, with his nine....

Lol, all jokes and bad lyrics aside I'm not worried about KJ or Cooper until there's something to worry about. I don't have enough information about what's going on to be concerned. If this was training camp or the start of the season then I'd be stressed but not now. I don't want KJ's reputation to precede him, I want him to start out fresh here and not be judged by the past. Until he proves the past is the present then I'm not worried.

I have absolutely no concerns about Cooper. He'll bring it when it counts.
