Reason to worry about Kelvin Joseph?

If only there was a simple and easy to use means of mass communication that someone who knew the answer could use to clarify the situation. Unfortunately it simply does not exist.

which is why I reserve judgement when more facts are known. If as mentioned this is somehow covid related then I don't want him there at these OTA, if it is a case of him not wanting to be there and busy with other things then yeah he would deserve the scorn of fans but right now I don't know why, I'm sure sooner or later those in the media will report should they find out more details

Bossman Fat takes time out of his busy day to tell people that he has no time to tell people anything. Mind blown. Actually I am starting to like this guy he may be next level. He may grown to become an all time favorite unless of course he sucks.

Well if it is Covid, then HIPPA, then it is up to Joseph to clarify which the tweet looks like he did.

Sounded like a reasonable response, I actually respect a man more when he talks with his true intentions... Im just willing to let OTAs be OTAs, I will wisely choose to reserve judgment until it actually matters.
Maybe we can just win some damn games for a change and forget about the rest.

I never said it was the "rapper" issue. I'm on record to saying its stupid with Jaylon too and bring up the same example every time. Lebron James is the biggest sports athlete in the country and he has film production companies, endorsements, businesses and it doesn't stop him from playing a high level even at his current age of 36.

But the narrative this whole offseason even when he was drafted was "He wants to be a rapper". As if he can't have a side gig and perform at a high level. We can sit here and pretend like it wasn't but it was.

And its interesting the Ball discussion has run its course but Joseph's "off the field issues" haven't even though we don't even know what his off the field issues truly are.
I think the OG poster brought up a good point about what Risen and others are doing. That's the point i'm agreeing with. Guys like Risen want to see him fail. Its why he's on his Twitter all day everyday waiting for some type of news and that's the part I find sickening. Whether its race motivated or not I don't know but its definitely very odd.

Ball's issues ran their course due to the fact the discussion was leading to threads going off the rails and people getting personal and insulting others. It has nothing to do with the color of his skin compared to Joseph. And to suggest or insinuate that like some did is just hair pulling.

As a fan....I'll be fine with ONE decent corner out of this draft.

I personally don't care if the back of that players jersey reads Joseph or Wright.

Sounds to me like Wright is making the most of his opportunity and is hungry to succeed.

If for no other reason, Bossman might want to play through those sniffles....or whatever tragic situation took priority.....on that alone.

Kind of my stance as well. The plan was to come out of this draft with a player who eventually will be a starter......whether its Wright or Joseph I really don't care.

Good thing he can't choose his name for the jersey. "LSU hate me" is available. He was a backup when he was suspended in 2018. Then he transferred to Kentucky, sat in 2019, had some nice games, some ugly, was benched, and opted out of the season after the Florida game where Kyle Pitts treated him like an 8th grade walk on.

If that don't sound like a guy who could quit you in heartbeat, I don't know what to tell ya. For all the positives, he's a immature, undisciplined, character concerning one year wonder who lacks eye discipline, and possibly the ability to play zone, needs work on route recognition and is prone to penalties.

But he's talented! And I've been wrong before,so who knows?

I don't understand how they could meet with him and still draft him in the 2nd round.

I never know anymore whether you are serious or not but I think you are serious on this one and I have to agree.

Desperation after Surtain and Horn went in front of them I guess....

Exactly right. They had cornerback on the brain. They were taking one in the 2nd round no matter what.

It's the only position that gets treated this way.

Wait...what??? I thought once we got enough LIKES, Reality would start greasing the rails for us.
It's a measuring device to determine how bad we suck.

It's all part of an algorithm. You take your number of posts snd divide by 10. Then you take the square root of your likes. Add them together and multiply by pi.

If your answer is less than Jaylon's jersey number to the exponential power of Cowboys championships then you should probably keep your opinions to yourself.

Luckily for me, about 250 of the registered posters on this forum is actually me and I like myself...a lot.

I would hope this would be one of those "Maybe if you ignore it, it goes away" type of things with this dude.

But it seems he could be trouble. Especially if he's talking about the Cowboys in that quote

This thread was fair. It contained a question mark in the title and even stated it's probably nothing in the message body. However you do have to consider it considering this player's past.

It's just that you have sensitive babies around here who make their face paint run whenever they see something that could even potentially be negative towards the team.

I don't have the heart to tell them this franchise sucks and has for 25 years now.

You should know this already, and should give 0 F's, like I do.

They will always cry, can't critique a damn thing.

Just jump and cheer and say everyone is the best or top 5

Mods will get it, surely.

But while I've got you. Don't you think it's ridiculous that we create these strict standards for a 20 yr old black kid who's created a successful rap career for himself and volunteered to transfer to a different program, but can't call any attn whatsoever to the white dude with aggression problems on record for beating his GF and was actually kicked out of school and forced to transfer? One of these guys presents a potentially serious problem and one of these is a silly problem, and for some reason, we choose to focus on the silly one. Do you wonder why?
I think Josh Ball got lots of bad takes on this board at draft time. He has got to prove himself over the coming weeks, months and years to his team mates, coaches and more importantly society. He has no wiggle room for errors.
I think Kelvin joseph is a very good player. I'm not bothered that he likes to make music.
I dont fully understand the tweet he sent out but I understand people jumping to conclusions. The negatives that came with his status are definitely cause for concern and he again has to prove himself, but I'd say only to his coaches and team mates, he hasn't done anything where he needs to prove himself to outside people.....
