Frankly, I'd be happy to get him and have the young players actually have to beat out a vet for the job. There's nothing I've seen that tells me younger players like Carlos Watkins and Trysten Hill are better than an old Geno Atkins.

Agree. But Dallas wants this D to be top notch. Since it was the Cowboys doctor who did the surgery, no doubt he'll be cleared.

The fact the Cowboys are really up against the cap (well, at least that's what I heard) means any interest in Geno Atkins or any other veteran means somebody else needs to restructure or get cut.
