Note, I am not saying he did anything nefarious here. But when he wasn't at practice, it's certainly fair for the media to wonder/ask where he is, especially based on his history.
I completley agree with that. Everything he does will be under a scope cause like you said of his history. I wasn't trying to assume anything with what you were saying, was just mentioning that he wasn't at practice because of illness.

Seriously don't have any idea what you are hearing that is concerning. He says "yes sir" "appreciate you" and "thank you" to Jerry and "appreciate you all believing in me" to McCarthy. Just because his tone is unexcited, speaks with a drawl, and doesn't say much, that's a problem?

I'm at a loss as well. I figured it was supposed to be a joke or something.

Exactly right. They had cornerback on the brain. They were taking one in the 2nd round no matter what.

It's the only position that gets treated this way.
That is the issue, just like 2012, they think they are a CB or 4 away from a SB.

I have no issue with KJ, he just has about a 2% chance to be a real difference maker over Barmore, Moehrig, Jenkins, JOK, etc.

It wasn't CBs making Mahomes run for his life in the SB...rarely if ever has been

too early to say or make Judgement at this point, but I would certainly put Joseph in that peer ranking despite what the "pros" have to say.
Joseph was the 3rd best DB in this class with Farley injury, this team drastically needed a corner so no problem with Joseph being the pick there.

I literally am at a loss with this cornerback hysteria. It's everywhere. From the team, the fans, even the media. Stuff like this, posted after day one. Notice the title. "Cornerbacks to target in round 2"

It truly is a mental illness. No other position is prioritized like this and they can't even pick one that provides impact.

That is exactly it. 2 hours before the draft I told you my list was Parsons, Slater, Barmore. Stoked and in shock

Then to see how the next pick with all that capital was predetermined as a mandate was unreal.

The years we have been good in the last 25, it has been talent from inside out. I doesn't seem that difficult to see
