It's for certain that Dak has gone through enough pain in rehabbing his injured ankle to deserve much credit for doing so well in his recovery. I've been straining my eyes to see something that isn't right about his gait and/or foot placement and can't seem to find anything suspiciously wrong. Here's hoping he's able to withstand the rigors of an extended 17 game schedule this season. He's more than likely to be severely tested, without a doubt. o_O

Those of us who believe in Dak believe in him for a reason. We have played sports or fought in battle and understand that a drive to always be better, to fight to the end, to never lose and to work your *** off is what makes a man. It’s what makes a leader. Dak does all of that. Here’s what La’el had to say about Dak:

Cowboys RT La’el Collins on rehabbing with Dak Prescott: “It gives me chills to think about it because he don’t complain. … When I see that guy, that’s who I do it for. I do it for that guy. That’s my locker mate, and I’ll protect him at all costs.”

That’s leadership and the team will fall on a sword for him. You haters embarrass yourselves when you crap on Dak.

oh spare us. This is such a childish post on multiple levels

first off most of us knew this wouldn't be an issue, thank the surgeon ands rapid advances in medical sciences..if Jaylon smiths comeback wasn't a sign well people arent paying attention..you can pretty much recover from just about any injury that in past decade might be career ending..

I still judge dak the same as always and its not hating , now that hes paid like Mahomes i expect more and its natural to now be more judged then ever before and Dak upside is great but lets not forget we have seen the downside as well..

so I was not hoping he wouldn't recover, not happy he got inured , nor ever had a doubt he would start the season full go..

However i will be harsh in my evaluations play by lay and game by game and how the season goes..

its time for him to take the next step or fall in line of yet another disappointing end to promising career that many very good QBS who never became elite, just good but not special....

People do this ALL the time in "real life". Without the gain and benefit of NFL big money. They battle, fight, sacrifice....with no or little complaint. They aren't heroes or leaders...they are doing what they need to do.

Dak has the very best medical care in the world....and it's his career. Why would he do anything else BUT this?

The problem YOU have rock...is you think any little critique is "hater". You you emotionally knee jerk everything and put it all in one basket. Do we have a few unreasonable fans here? Of course! However....Every player has faults, errors, and improvements to make. Try to have some patience and discernment not putting them all in the same box.

Yep....of course. I do the same as you do.

Sometimes the truth hurts...especially if you are willing to accept a spoonful of it. But you become a better person for it. Tell yourself whatever you need to make you feel better.

Don’t need to because I speak in truths. You speak in hate. It’s what you are.

Ah...yet again telling yourself what makes you feel better. It comes so easy for you, while you lecture other people about it?

I see so you are immune to the flaws every other human has? LOL...

"I speak in truths".....no....you are human like the rest of us. You make up sheet in your head....and tell yourself "truth". It comes easier for some than others. I feel sad for you....this is how you treat people. Everything you say and do is truth and everyone else is a stupid a hole. What a miserable way to go through life. Well..miserable for those around you anyway.

Broken ankle .... big deal. I said it a while back. I broke my ankle and had pins put in to keep it together.... it wasnt that big of a deal. Wasnt like a Joe Theisman injury.

That being said, Dak won me over last year. There is absolutely no excuses this year. We will likely never have a better WR or RB corps during Dak's career than what we will have this year.
