I do think Parsons was the guy all along

I agree. I think you think I’m saying something I’m not.

I don’t think Parsons or anyone was the “Target”. As a matter of fact.. it was well documented how average this draft class was with the exception of Pitts and Lawrence. There was question marks for every defensive player in the first round. That’s why the options were wide open.. Only 6 defensive players were picked in the top 20! What I will say is.. I do believe Dallas drafted the consensus top defensive player in the draft tho.. and that’s good news for the worst Dallas defense in history.
Oh I agree. I said about a week or two ago......I wanted corner...not even sure why. Parsons was the best defensive prospect and the one guy who could have a generational talent type impact. I think it was the fact he was a linebacker that kind of had people wanting corner....but I'm for it. I hope the Cowboys did as well.

I think doing so, you're just setting yourself up for disappointment. Parsons could end up being a good LB but he's got to learn how to do it in the pros first. His rookie season won't be great, he's on an uphill climb to get to where the Cowboys need him to be.
Ok, thanks for answering my question about why you think Parsons was a mistake even though I didn't phrase the question very well.

I want a corner. I just wish I knew why.

A classic case of Ophiocordyceps Cornerbackis.

Literally nothing in the op that is convincing to his point. Nothing.

Dallas tried to move up..Definitely not for parsons

Dallas also moved down..definitely not for their top target..

Everything else is a spin job..

opinions are like belly buttons, everyone has one.
My opinions are generally based on facts. The best player in the draft doesn't fall to 12.
If Pitts was on the board at 10 he would've been the pick with no trade down.

I prognosticated before the draft that there was too much CB smoke coming out of Dallas. That Parsons was the pick. Then my Girl Jane Slater said Parsons was gonna be the pick. Don’t shoot down my high.

Did you miss this part? I do think.

When did they try to move up?

There was also the story that CAR was on Horn and DEN had already been talked about as a Surtain landing spot.

And why did Booger pull that "any player that opted out isn't going to get as much love"? I think he even pulled that gushing over Pitts in the interview as part of his game.

I admit it, when they traded out to PHL, my first thought was it wasn't Parsons or why would they take the chance on losing out on him. I think they knew CHI was coming up for Fields.
