Tannenhill since joining the Titans has been a top 10 QB. You gotta pick your poison with them, but i'm with you, i'd focus more on Henry then Tannenhill, because if Henry is rolling then so is that clock.
I don't know....I think he was top 10 last year but the year prior? Not so sure. I'm still not really sure what type of QB he is in this league. If he plays like he did last year which he should....I'd say he's top 10. Had a very good year last year.

I don't think Atlanta had much of a choice. Jones was determined not to play for Atlanta in 2021. At least they go a 2nd round pick for him, but it will not be near the top of the round.
well they got 2 and 6th in different drafts but got 4th back..id say its 3rd if you see it they way it truly is..

Ive always liked Tannehill. He had some nice years in Miami that were held back by poor roster decisions. In 2014 he completed 68% of his throws for 4K yards, just got dinged up a little bit after that.

but you could argue Tannehill 2019 with the Titans was better than 2020. He only started 10 games but completed 70% of his passes. If you averaged his numbers that year through 16 starts he’d have had 4K yards for 35 TDs, probably would have been an MVP candidate. He’s not Aaron Rodgers, but I’d say he’s definitely at least a Matt Ryan

I don't know what the stats are but just watching him....he was literally a bus driver in 2019...it was literally ride Henry to the ground...and it still was last year but he did far more with his passing and they asked him to do more with his passing. I don't think he's Matt Ryan...hard to really compare him....to me he's Alex Smith in his prime.

thats a pile of doo doo, hot steaming doodoo

sorry but if ATL was willing to trade difference makers why would they weaken their team? shame on them LMAO

JJ is not the difference maker he once was, all 3 of our WRs are better then him at the moment..JJ is aging, injury prone and expensive. He may help TT but to stay they are out making moves to improve , how about this they didnt have a good WR and went and got one..you know like we did with AC in 2018..

you are making a big deal about this and this is why these non cowboys related posts dont belong here, theres and NFL section and off topic section so we dont have to hear the crying by fans like you..

this trade means nothing in the grand scheme of things, one team loses player one gtes him..its a wash and again has zero effect of the DC..NONE ,squat..

So does anyone else find it kind of disturbing that for as good as Julio is....he's only had double digit touchdowns ONCE in his career? Seems odd. Only 60 touchdowns for his career?

yeah his td rate has always been really odd. never quite understood it myself even watching him

The Titans were already a problem regardless, but now they become a bigger threat.

I always get jealous to see already good teams try and get better. That's why this franchise can't get out of it's own way. If we do have a good season we don't try to improve on it. We "like our guys" too much.
Cowboys like their guys so much they just spent a whole draft and free agency replacing defensive starters. How much turnover did you want?

He just wanted something else to complain about as usual. Even though it did not involve Dallas directly. But turned it into something. :muttley:

And for a player we did not need.

I would've liked to have upgraded with big names as well but just because I would've wanted to see that doesn't mean its the correct way to build the team lol.

It took two years for the Cowboys to rebuild this defense. Its too early to tell what the defense will look like but we at least know they should have two playmakers on defense in Parsons and Diggs.

I don't think the answer for this team is to sign past their prime players to fix it.
I have no faith in this FO's ability to build a team. IF we have an success it will be because of pure luck and things going our way. We won't be winning anything because of the smart moves we make, that's for sure.

I mean, we wanted Paxton Lynch not Dak Prescott. It was blind luck.

So we're supposed to talk about the Titans on a Cowboys fourm? We're not supposed to related the way other teams operate to the way the Cowboys operate? That seems kinda strange, no?

By the way, it's not about who we needed or not. It's about an already good team attempting to make it's self better. That's something this organization lacks.

dang i like the titans. they do a good mix of smash mouth football, skill, + nasty defense.

they are a real super bowl contender!

Mike Vrabel really turned that team around. Even after a very risky call that may have cost them in his 1st year. One could tell they were a team on the rise. The owner stuck with him though. For sure a SB contender.

Julio Jones is still the third best WR on earth. One injury doesnt make a player injury proned. He had 3000 yards between 2018-2019 and was on pace for 1400 yards in 2020 before his season was cut short.

That is AMAZING production. Like all time historic production, and it’s not like he’s 37, he’s 32. Has a few great years left
