the DC FO made many FA moves, a huge draft trying to rebuild a defense , paid dak, and well that doing things yet some you dismiss that over an aging expensive WR that doesnt score a lot of TDs and forced his way off team...right big news there buddy..you see his stats last year? you have eyes it would tell you hes in decline...the DC did not NEED a WR so this post is moot and all responses after as bad as the KJ posts.. a pile of poo

again most of these moves are wash fans forget the team that lost a player as well as another gains one..its not really big deal for either side..

Have you looked at the Titans WR's? They actually NEED a WR. Have you looked at our WR list, we do NOT need a WR. And what other FA's were out there that we could actually get without paying out the butt to ruin the salary cap structure? It really was not a good year in FA's available. I think they did fine with what they had to work with.

in most likely half the games and yes thats why Dez was great three straight season over 1300 yards and double digit TDS , he was monster..

and yes it was catch imagine how that goes down in history should it have stood and if it was the GWTD?

different story for Romo and Dez im betting..

because teams let him go off and when it comes to actually putting points on him he regularly gets shut out of the end zone.

i don’t see how it’s any different than blake bortles throwing for almost 5k yards

Are you trying to imply that I wanted the Cowboys to go after Jones? Because I did not say that at all and I don't see how one could even come to that conclusion.

I simply said that the Titans are an already good team that is trying to get better and I wished the Cowboys would follow that design. That's it. Why is that an issue?

Dez was a DOG. people have short term memories but he was a legit top 3-5 WR at his peak

just seeing it from a different angle most likely the titans picks are far lower then the falcons so the 2 and 4 are very low having to give up 6th like maybe a 5/4 depending on the falcons final rankings..

so in the end i view it as 3rd for the falcons..

Julio Jones was not making this Cowboys' team better. Let that sink in when evaluating the front office. The front office put together one of the tops, if not the top, WR groups in the NFL - Cooper, Lamb, and Gallup. The cupboard isn't bare. That isn't to say there are not problems elsewhere.

The Titans gave up a lot for a 32-year-old WR and took on his $15M salary. The Titans are gambling and needed to reach since their WR corps was pretty bare.

The Falcons needed to move Julio Jones because of their front office and how they handled the salary cap the past few years. The Falcons also have to re-sign some younger WRs to big contracts soon. I believe Julio was injured for a while last year and previous years and the offense did just fine without him.

Yes, the Cowboys' front office made mistakes and good decisions just like the Falcons' and Titans' front office. We shall see how all this plays out.

I agree.

Especially at that position. The threat of him missing pre season work means almost nothing.

For a lousy late second rounder, it would be worth the bluff.

Maybe this puts an end to the trade Gallup for a 1st posts at least.

the true value of trade only happens at seasons end when ranking and the draft is set, then the players chosen in those spots and actually if you wan to be technical how those players turn out,,so you cant tell me what it truly is in value either..

its why i settle on 3 , seems fair...

good thing im not CPA and would purposely get you flagged :)))
