I just had no idea it was that bad...Dez has 75 touchdowns on his career. He has 15 more than Julio. Just wow.
Dez was amazing in the red zone
So good at the back shoulder pass and a powerful runner
Julio just doesn’t have the red zone skills you’d expect from an elite receiver
I don’t know if it’s he’s skill set, scheme or what, but between the 20’s he’s an all time great but in the red zone he just fades

Of course lol. I was just going to post it and it's already posted lol. Is Adam Schefter on these boards? With that said, nice job by the Titans.

I don't get that. Not if Watkins balls out and helps the Ravens to a SB at 1/3 the price.

it would be the first time he “balled out” in his career. Hes got 4600 yards over 7 seasons .

He’s not that type of receiver, hence 5m$

"The Titans were already a problem regardless, but now they become a bigger threat.

I always get jealous to see already good teams try and get better. That's why this franchise can't get out of it's own way. If we do have a good season we don't try to improve on it. We "like our guys" too much."

That is what I said, and well, you see the rant he went on in replying to it.
I see your point, just not sure it applies in this case.

Would our team be better with Jones? I'm not entirely sure. Tougher to defend for 2021 maybe, but overall results likely the same.

If let's say Aaron Donald was moved for lets say a late first....then it's very fair to lose our minds.

This wasn't that.

I never said that or even suggested that at all.

We don't need Jones on single bit. We are fine at WR.

I just used it as example of an already good football team trying to get better instead of having the "we like our guys" philosophy.

So me saying that then automatically means I wanted the Cowboys to go after Jones?

Yikes.

I guess I shouldn't bring up the Cowboys on a Cowboys forum if I don't want my words to be twisted. Lesson learned.

People's words get 'twisted' all the time. People re-explain themselves and move on. The words you chose are not clear to numerous viewers and you are complaining about the viewers. Maybe it's you and the words you chose.

You are free to comment on the Atl, Tenn, and Dallas front office's WR corps if you like. There is a lot there to compare. Why Tenn and Atlanta had t do what they just did. It would be interesting but I doubt you want to do down that road.

Tannehill has played like atop 10 since joining the team.

Do you not remember when he took over for Mariota and he turned the whole thing around? A change of scenery worked wonders for him.

Fur sure. He's been a solid QB for the Titans. If he can play like he did last season, I expect Tennessee to win that division. Julio puts them in a position to be able to contend to play in the AFC Championship. Just going to come down to them, Kansas City, Buffalo, and maybe Cleveland.

I don't think the words I chose say's I wanted the Cowboys to get Jones.

You really have have to play some mental gymnastics to see that in my words, but then again, some people like to see what they want to see just to argue.

..you see his stats last year? you have eyes it would tell you hes in decline...

You are correct we did not need him, but what you said above isn't entirely accurate. You said his stats tell you he's in decline. Well, he only played 9 games. If he had played 15-16 games (like he did the prior 6 seasons) he was on pace for 91 catches and 1,370 yards. That tells me he missed time because he was injured, not because he was in decline. Will just have to wait and see how he comes back from it (was only a hamstring though).

https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/football/players/news/1623794/julio-jones/
"Julio Jones (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Buccaneers, Jason Butt of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports... Jones ultimately wasn't able to demonstrate enough progress to get the green light for the season finale. He'll close out the 2020 season with four straight missed games, but before that he produced at an elite level, nabbing 51 receptions for 771 yards and three touchdowns over nine appearances. Still, injuries kept Jones from extending a streak of six consecutive Pro Bowl appearances, while he was also held under 1,300 receiving yards for the first time since 2013."

The above said, I completely agree with the rest of your post.

Good! Out the NFC........lol

But I thought they had an offer of a 1 in their pocket........guess not
Looks like Amari's trade value just plummeted. Yikes. What a deal for the Titans. Interesting move by them. Guess they plan on doing more than ground chuck for their offense this season. They look alot more dangerous to me. They have the OL and RB and the QB to make something happen.

Falcons grab a 2nd and 4th but have to eat over 20 million dollars in dead cap.

If he stays reasonabile healthy Titans get a good deal, I think there only on the hook for 3 years at 38 million since Atlanta is eating all the bonuses

I was not twisting your comments. You are now back tracking trying to say you were not saying Dallas should have signed him instead. Not one person said that is what you were saying.
You were giving the Dallas FO a back handed slap, and disguising it. Saying they would never do something like this for any player ant any position to improve the team.
That sounded like your intent, but go ahead and twist it to back track. However, the comments are for that, not the player involved. How else could one take it. If you meant that Dallas did not need him, then say it that way.

I've learned my lesson.

Do not bring up the Cowboys, on non Cowboys related post, on a Cowboys forum unless you want your words to be misconstrued just for arguments sake.

I think its more of how you have posted since you came to this board

It's more of a "you have a history of complaining about every Cowboys player, so they are not trusting you just yet" kinda thing. I don't think there's anything wrong with that mindset.

Which player did I complain about to make anyone think I wanted Jones though? lol
