Young and always seemed to be in decent shape. Was a bigtime boater while in NY. Peace to the Fassel family.

RIP Jim. I got to meet him and all the rest of the Giants coaches in a bar/restaurant across the street from the Giants training facility in Albany many years ago. Very gracious group. I always thought he deserved a second shot as a head coach in the NFL. Gone too soon.

Very sad. He didn't look like he was 71, plus he still looked good. My mom is 71, still working and in good health. Makes me worry now. My deepest condolences to Coach John Fassel and the Fassel family. Coach Jim Fassel was a well liked and respected man. May he rest in peace.
