It was like Rodgers reflecting back on those golden child hood moments, and reading that fresh comic book, had that smell that you will never forget.
I used to collect comics back in the day.
A few writers truly shaped me to what I am and do today:
Dave Sims' Cerebus
Jeff Smith's Bone
Anything and everything by Frank Miller
Neal Gaiman's Sandman
John Romita Jr's work when he was doing Daredevil...

Mmm hmm.

Grow thicker skin buttercup. :p You have real problems if my words hurt you like that.
Oh I personally don’t care. When the guy is all pro you’re the one who will look a certain way. Not me lol. But hey. Keep it up.

You make it personal when you harass me the way that you do. The guy will have won me over long before he makes all pro. We'll all celebrate that event. We'll cross that bridge when/if we get there. I'm certainly not there yet, he has much to prove before I praise him.

I'm on record saying i wouldn't draft him before 15-20 and mainly because character issues in his past plus questions about coverage ability. No doubt he has the highest ceiling and potential to be great.

With that being said, if Dallas is planning to use him everywhere including rushing the passer and has no off the field problems here could be a huge steal. From reports seems like he is learning all LB positions so i hope it's not too much and he learns fast. I'm excited to see his growth and hope he contributed immediately in upgrading the defense. Smith and Leighton better step it up. Parsons and Cox are young and hungry

There is an old western film called, "Day of the Evil Gun." It stars Glenn Ford and Arthur Kennedy. At one point Ford and Kennedy are riding a horse across a desert. The horse has been wounded. It finally dies. It is a tragic moment, and I have no idea how they got the horse to stagger and fall. Just very realistic.

I have seen your comments about Parsons. The one above made me think of that scene.

You're going to ride this dying horse until he drops as Parsons is in the running for defensive rookie of the year.

I will not make fun of you, nor rejoice in your solitude as the fan base surrounds this guy. I just want you to be aware I know you are now hanging on by fingernails because of pride.

Been there. Done that. Got the XXX sized t-shirt.

Was it a Horse With No Name?
