Yeah but keep in mind that Trysten Hill missed most of the season.

I would be curious to know if we improved in yards allowed before contact after Hill was hurt. Our defense certainly looked better later in the season, but it couldn't look worse.

My comment was about what the Cowboys brought in. I already mentioned Urban. Basham does little for me.

I agree that if there is improvement, it will come from guys already here.

Basham should be a competent replacement for Aldon Smith and better than options like Dorance Armstrong as a rotational end/DPR/LEO. We'll see, of course, but I don't know if we can say Armstrong, Anae, etc., will be better.

So do you like it when somebody randomly drops some fecal matter on your banana split while your not paying attention?
I hate banana splits. Feel free to randomly drop all the fecal matter you want on it. I won't be eating it anyway. ;)

Scouts honor. I can't eat them without getting brain freeze only the brain freeze I get knocks me to my knees sometimes. It's seriously bad.

I mean if you only like Urban then yeah you wouldn't think much of what they brought in.

I think Urban and Basham should be upgrades over Antawn Woods........

Then you have Osa, Golston and Bohanna as well. I like what they brought in.

I think they addressed the DT position, but I cant say I'm too excited about what they did. In FA they brought in a couple bargain guys that are upgrades, but nobody is a long term answer there. Definitely like Urban over Woods.

In the draft, yah they addressed it with those 3 guys, but none of those guys move the needle for me either. I would like to really see them use some prime assets at the DT position.

We can only hope with Basham. He hasnt done much of anything since he has been in the league.

I knew it,, every post you make when you go all whack is from brain freeze,, see how much we can accomplish with a little bit of rational discovery.

They don't move the needle for me per se but i'm intrigued. I can't say I feel great or bad about them because I never saw them play. Guys completely off my radar so i'm cautiously optimistic.

Got some young guys now even in a possible rotation of sorts,, the older vets made about a lick of difference, and teams dont let premium DL ever leave, there is usually a reason.
Im good with going with the youth movement.

His not much of anything, though, is more than any of our backups has done. He has 7.5 sacks, 7 passes defensed and an interception in four years. Armstrong has had 2.5 sacks and 2 PDs in three years. Because we didn't bring him in as a starter, I think he'll be a depth upgrade.
