The center may get beaten out by the Nebraska player, outright, not due to deficiencies, the Nebraska boy just might be better and more well rounded.

Surely This is a sarcasm quote, right?

How do broken records keep popping up in the digital age?

You tell me. There are constant posts about Dak and how awesome they think he is and propping him up onto a pedestal he doesn't belong on. Can that not be considered a broken record as well?

Oh, I get it, only positive posts are allowed. Say anything negative and you are labeled a hater and someone who keeps tossing out broken records.

This thread wasn't about Dak, nor had it even veered in that direction. Nobody was discussing Dak in this thread or putting him on a pedestal. You just decided to make it about Dak.

Oh aye for the record i'm not knocking the 2016 class. I still like it to this day. Jaylon didn't turn out to be what we had hoped but at the end of the day you came out of it with a franchise QB and a few starters. For that alone you have to like it. I was just bringing up how people were far higher on it 3 years ago than they are now lol.
It takes a few years to know what a draft class is gonna be. This may or may not be a good one. I know some are very high on different players
But I remember people being high on players in previous draft classes who aren’t in the league today
If this class turns out one elite player and 3-4 solid starters it will be a success
But by 2023-2024 we will know

Which is why I think this thread is premature but it is what it is...hell I hope it works out in our favor.

While I’m not a fan of giving ANY player such a large chunk of cash, and I’m still not 100% sold that Dak can lead us to the promised land, I still think we need to give it more time. It appears like we devoted a larger percentage of our cap than we should have, but we don’t know all the roster moves they can make to lesson the pain, how the yearly caps will play out, what contracts get restructured, etc., etc. My priorities are simple: be hopeful and optimistic and keep it light. Enjoy football, avoid stress, and center your outlook with logic and reason. Honestly, my priority is NOT endless debate, being “right” on internet fan forums, then being snarky about it to validate my views, and I’m not being facetious. I’m also not directing this at you or anyone else—just generalizing.
All Thats true if it effects someonea life directly . . . but I specifically come here to read and make comments
