We get to see the Cards early pre season, so we cant hit Murray there.
We get to see the Cards and Murray on Jan 2 in our house,, I want the Cowboys locker room pasted with Murray on a bullseye.
He should have just kept his mouth shut.

Born in Bedford and going to high school in Allen, Texas (both suburbs of Dallas), you’d think Kyler Murray was a born and bred Cowboys fan. But, this was apparently not the case.

Hanging out with Sports Illustrated for the release of his magazine cover with FaZe Clan on Thursday, Murray was asked about his NFL allegiances as a kid.

His answer to to whether or not he was a Cowboys fan was a resounding “(expletive) no!”

“They were always a**,” the Cardinals QB said.

He later elaborated that he was a fan of the Minnesota Vikings growing up.

(The Cowboys meet Murray and the Cards twice this year.)

Do you really think any of these players care about what he thinks of a team most of them weren't even part of when he was in Dallas? He graduated high school in 2014, how many of these players were a Cowboys player back then?

Those players you want to put that bullseye up, think any are thinking "I could one day be a Cardinal'?

These players do not have anywhere near the passion you have, not even close. It's a job, they don't even hate the rival East teams.

Do you think Murray just became a fan as an adult? I became a fan at about 6 years old. No young kid is examining the owner or GM or the OL. Most become fans of the local team that is on TV and followed by family and friends.

I don’t know why Murray did not become a Cowboy fan, or why he chose the Vikings, who incidentally were not exactly the elite of the NFL when he was a kid growing up. Maybe is Dad hated the Cowboys and he picked up on that. Maybe he had family from Minnesota. It I’ll bet dollars to donuts it wasn’t because he scrutinized the ownership and management and studied the interior linemen as a young grade school kid.

What, are you a math major? That 25 years covers his whole life. He told you why,,,' The Cowboys were always *** '.

Murray grew up watching the Cowboys when Romo showed up, and they were completely irrelevant in the recent years prior. Randy Moss was a rookie when he was 1 so I'm not sure what Vikings team he was a fan of when he started watching, maybe it was the colors or AP that had got him as a fan.

I don’t recall inserting a complex math equation. Was there something that flew over your head? Lol

And does what you posted explain the attraction to the Vikings?

As for his dislike of the Cowboys, again the start of him feeling that way goes back way before he had lived a full 25 years. He didn’t say he started off as a Cowboy fan but changed his mind when he got older and decided they were *******s. He likely would have developed his opinion at a very young age, and like most kids it was likely based on some influence in his life.

I know it’s more dramatic to think that as a kid he closely studied the owner and GM and the personality of the players, but the reality is that generally not how it works with kids. I’m sure Billy Kilmer was a very nice man, but as a kid I hated the Commanders, so as a leader on the Commanders I hated Billy Kilmer. That’s more likely how the mind of a young child will work. Hell, if you read this website enough you will find it works that way with some adults.

I think allot of people are not considering Kyler’s dad being an influence on the team he liked growing up. I’m a Cowboys fan because my dad was one. I grew up watching Cowboy games and traveling to all of training camps when they were still in Texas. I’m willing to bet Kyler’s dad (who was a football coach) had an admiration for Randy Moss and the Vikings.

I mean, he's free to like who he wants to like but he could have been a bit more classy about it.

Yeah Yeah Kyler we know you dont like us...it was evident by how you were trying to hurt our stadium field with the hot burners you kept throwing into the ground last game you played here.

I don't see why Kyler Murray should "like" us as an opponent. A little respect wouldn't hurt, though! We need to find a way to make him adjust his attitude by sacking him on a respectable basis. Trouble is, you've gotta catch him first. That's easier said than done. A few picks might help, tho! ;)

Respect for what? They came to Dallas last year and obliterated us. The game wasn't even close. A laugher. I'm all for trash talking, but when you get your balls stapled to your forehead the only time you met the dude in competition you need to dial it back or you just look like a fool.

I suggest keeping our mouths shut until we can right a wrong.

They did beat us but Kyler was anything but stellar passing that game.

When I mentioned finding a way to make him adjust his attitude, I wasn't foolishly talking about trash talking. I was talking about beating them in live competition. That's the only way to change their attitude and their thinking about having respect for us as a competitor. I'm smarter than to think trash talk is likely to phase them. That would surely cause them to disrespect us even more.

That's exactly why I mentioned beating them and sacking Murray to change his mind about this team. I also fully realize it's much easier said than done. Last year surely wasn't a good representation of what this team is capable of, however. Let's hope 2021 dramatically changes this team and especially, our defense, for the better. Beating them is the only way to earn their respect. If we can't do that, then we'll have to wait until we can.
