Yes. I don't understand your point.
My point is the same as it has always been. I have basically been saying for years that teams rosters follow along with the statistical bell shaped curve. Most lineups are essentially the same overall. Meaning from GM to GM they basically do about the same job as far as a grade for building the team. Some get lucky and land a stud qb that then takes that team and puts them into the next tier of teams that will essentially compete for the SB every year. So while people love to do what was done in this thread and say well if all it takes is a qb, why does Brees only have 1 sb win? That argument is ridiculous IMO. Having the HOF qb puts you in the running to win it all, but guess what? There are other HOF QBs scattered around the league that will also win it all. Only 1 gets a SB each year.
People all say well you need more than just the qb/.... well no kidding. But again, using the curve, if you take the teams inside the middle of the curve, they ALL have rosters capable of winning a SB, some just lack the QB. So if so many have the lineups, that means GMs, as are coached, are all basically the same.... they are ALL good.
Brady left the Pats and BAM... crapola. More proof... Manning and the Colts won 10 or more games for 9 straight seasons. Then manning missed a season and they won TWO, TWO FREAKING GAMES. So what happened to that roster? must have really been no better than any other team, but that QB... yea, he was special.
The Broncos had 5 straight non winning seasons prior to Manning's arrival. Manning showed up and the Broncos won 13,13,12, and 12 games and went to the SB 2 times in 4 years. hmmmm...I guess the GM and coach just figured it all out and made the right moves and put those pieces in place to help manning out, right? cmon........ the numbers are there. It tells you all you need to know about rosters and winning and losing in the NFL.
Chiefs are another example. Solid coach, solid roster, but in now way a threat to win a SB. Mahomes takes over, and pow.... instant SB contender for the next decade. Did Reid all of the sudden make up some new plays nobody has ever seen before?
And then we have the Pats and Bucs. Brady leaves and the Pats became horrible, he arrives in Tampa and took a team that had 1 winning season and ZERO playoff appearances in the previous 9 seasons and wins a SB in his very first season there. Dont talk to me about Fournette, Brown or any other player that came along for the rde.No Brady, no title, no playoffs even.
