Needle him into leaving? He wants to leave but can't because he's under contract.

True but then money wise Rodgers is set, so is it worth it to GB to hang on to a player who absolutely wants out? As I mentioned I think they can get multiple 1st rd picks in the process

True, the real dilemma is they drafted Love in the 1st rd last season, you start wondering would it be worth trading Rodgers for multiple 1st rd picks which I think they can easily get for him and just move on. Or is Love just a wasted pick that they feel can't do the job?
Good questions !

GB front office looks like they want him to retire this year. Saves them $35M-$44M. GB will trade him after the season.

You are correct he is under contract and can only play for the Packers or retire. Retire this year and leave via trade next year.

Here comes the next Jim Plunkett- Blake Bortles resurrects his career as a member of the Packers. When you draft a QB in the first round that QB really should be ready to take over after a year.

GB HC said he wants rodgers to stay desperately.
I also read the rodger would lose 43 million if he holds out lol, do you really think he is willing to lose all that money?
some of it is in pay, but like 20 mil or so is money he would have to give back to packers.

They need to find out what he really wants and work with him on it , whether it be a trade or him staying.

I just dont know what the Packers could do to keep Rogers there other then to make him have authority over player personnel and extend him??????
I dont think he would hold out all year I think he would hold out till the last day that he can report for time accrued??
GB and Houston have some headaches with their QB glad its not us lol

The Packers management really knows how to insult Rodgers. I guess they are all playing hardball now for real. Love it.

I don't think it takes much to insult Rodgers, he thinks he's king of the world so everyone is supposed to bow down at his feet. If they don't then he's crying and complaining. I'm really glad that crybaby isn't a Cowboy.
He's getting to be more of a soap opera star than a star QB.
