He did what all of you wanted. Sold the farm, and left us handicapped to an average QB.

Come game days, I don't want to see anybody other than the ones that have always been against this. Bash Jerry and Stephen and say "why did we give dak all this money? Jerry needs to go, he sucks" or "This team sucks, blow it up."

Cheering now, keep cheering when things go bad and we can't sign anyone or trade Dak.

Don't you all dare turn on Jerry and the FO, they did exactly what you wanted.

Sign Dak by any means
Look on the bright side. Its only a 3 year deal if they can find a better option by then.

If you look at the numbers, Dak lost a couple million or so by not taking the proferred contract offer prior to the 19 season. He didn't gain anything.
Your rowdy avatar has got to go. You're too good a poster for him.

Maybe someone can do it for me?
Nope.
People keep explaining, but I'm a technology idiot.
Actually, changing an avatar is easier to do than registering and logging onto CowboysZone or replying to other members' messages. Here you go:

1. Locate an image on your device or on download an image from the internet
2. Note exactly where your image can be found on your device
3. Click on your username in the upper right hand section of the screen (see 1st image below)
4. Click Avatar shown on the drop down menu (see 1st image below)
5. Click Choose File button (see 2nd image below)
6. Select your image from the location you noted in Step 2
7. Click Okay button

I actually don't care one way or the other!!!!!

Twice before I tried to change avatars, got lost both times, decided it wasn't worth it, and quit. That was on the old site. Is it easier here?

Not familiar with the old site but changing an changing an avatar on CowboysZone.com involves seven simple steps, with supporting illustrations, and "easier to do than registering and logging onto CowboysZone or replying to other members' messages".

Oh, there will be even more Jerry bashing by Dak groupies because they will lay Dak’s failures over the next 4 years at Jerry’s feet

just watch

if only we had all-Pros at all 5 OL positions
If only we had a top 5 defense
If only ....

never Dak’s fault

It's not that the Dak supporters don't think Dak hasn't got some fault, for the vast majority of us anyway. He does, and I've said so myself - too many missed "easy" throws, holds the ball too long too often, etc. Though ALL quarterbacks play a flawed game, no such thing as a perfect quarterback, or perfect season (the Dolphins team didn't lose a game, but they played some poor games along the way, and had a very easy schedule, perfect record but hardly a perfectly played season).

But look at it this way - 31 quarterbacks (roughly, some didn't play the whole year, etc.) failed last year. There's only one winner. If people want to complain about Dak not winning the SB, then let the ragging on Mahomes, Rodgers, Brees, etc. commence, they have to have all the "if only" label applied to them as well.

Winning the SB is hard, it takes skill, a good team and luck along the way to do it. If Norwood makes the 47 yard field goal, Bills win. But he didn't, and the Bills didn't. Does that mean Kelly couldn't win a SB unless he has all Pros on the o-line, etc? Of course not, that had nothing to do with him.

No quarterback wins a SB all by himself, or on a bad team, don't care how good he is....

how many QBs who “failed” for the last 5 years got paid 42 million/year ?

when you want to be paid like the vest you gotta deliver like the best or you will get criticized

I’ve said this before, if Dak leads us to 2 NFCCGs and wins us a SB in the next 5 years what he got paid will be worth it. Otherwise he’s just another average QB who got overpaid

So then Aaron Rodgers is an average QB who got overpaid, because he got a record deal in 2018 and hasn't been to two NFCCGs and won a SB in the last 5 years.
Drew Brees got a record deal in 2012 and never won a SB during that contract, so he's a average QB. So if those guys, who already won a SB, can't "get 'er done" despite their record payday, why should Dak be expected to?

Money doesn't make a quarterback a guaranteed SB winner, he can play lights out and still not even get there...

Read your own posts and then read my initial post that you responded to

no excuse is idiotic enough

I can see i have a true believer on my hands

like I said it’ll never be Daks fault

Signing Dak was completely all about marketing. It had nothing to do with his ability to throw the football. If the Cowboys organization really cared about winning they would of never paid Dak. He is never going to be one of those QBs that rights the ship when things are going bad in a game or they need a big win during the season. Everything has to be perfect around him for this team to win and thats exactly why he will never make a deep playoff run.
