lol it has everything to do with it. When the season is on the line and it's win or go home, that is pressure and they SUCKED.

Never gave up is just more Garrett BS.

The TEAM / PLAYERS never gave up. The one and done was all on Garrett and his decisions.

I'm desperately hoping to see the new Quinn crew (vets also) come into camp with fire and blow past all the complacent Garrett holdovers.

Perform or someone is waiting to take your job.

I don't believe that was the case around here much during the Garrett era, especially toward the end.

300 yards rushing in a playoff game. 4th and 24? that list goes on and on. But these things define being unable to handle pressure. That falls on everyone involved. top to bottom. Coaches, front office, players, preparation etc etc. Not giving up and being unable to handle any pressure are 2 different things and they're still sitting home either way.

These guys are still soft as a baby's arse. When's the last time someone described a Cowboy as being a beast?

When was the last time some Cowboy fan didn’t describe some Cowboy player a beast? Plenty of Cowboys who have been anointed as lifetime beasts.

That changes this year, at least for 1 playoff game, then they may sit at home after that.
Actually it may be 2 playoff games. I think the NFC shifts this year as to what teams rise and fall. Except TB will be in the mix for sure.

I will be happy they just win the division, then see what happens from there. No SB aspirations, but I do expect them to win the division, unless WFT and NYG really surprise.

BS.
This team even under Garrett, and last year with all the injuries, they NEVER gave up. They kept playing until the bitter end.
Pressure has nothing to do with it.

I don't think they ever gave up, I do think the pressure of the moment in that key situations late in games be it offense or defense we do not tend to make the play to seal the game.
Every game there are certain moments that tend to swing the game and this team has to learn to capitalize in those moments. I think we have a lot of good players but they need to learn how to win and often times it is that 1 big 3rd or 4th down you must convert or stop that ends up being the difference.

I think the tide is turning. I don’t expect a Super Bowl, but I do see a team that can compete and even be a playoff surprise if the D can come together. Just don’t look unprepared and outmatched. Losing a tight game is a heart breaker, but looking like you don’t belong there is even worse!

Probably back to '95....when everything else ended as well. Time as we know it, and Cowboys history. Excluding Tyrone Smith's first few years in the league, prior to his injuries.

The Cowboys are giving their rookies one extra week of work before sending them off on summer vacation.

Linebacker Micah Parsons, cornerback Kelvin Joseph, and the rest of the first-year players will undergo a one-week “rookie school” at The Star in Frisco. The sessions that started Monday are designed to give the newbies added one-on-one exposure to the coaching staff and time with the playbooks, an opportunity to ask questions and crunch film now that they’ve gone through OTAs and minicamp practices with the rest of the team.

“Pretty much most of the things I do are a reflection of my experience of coaching quarterbacks,” McCarthy said, as quoted by Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News. “When I look at rookie school, I think it’s kind of a wrapup of the old quarterback school that I was part of in the early ’90s where you had that extra time. The point I’m making is there’s always- for a young player- there’s always moments in meetings and even on the field where they really don’t want to ask the question because maybe the timing or they’re totally not sure.”

Watkins points out that the Cowboys are set to enter training camp with 25 rookies, 11 draft picks and 14 undrafted free agents in addition to 19 players with two years or less of experience.

Dallas finds itself in something of a youth movement, with a roster that was fifth-youngest in the league last season in terms of snap-weighted age.

This may surprise some folks but according to @fboutsiders SWA, the Dallas Cowboys were the 5th youngest team in the NFL last season. The future is bright for the Cowboys… #cowboyszone #Cowboys pic.twitter.com/KZ400qWPKl

Considering how much better off we are this year, as compared to 2020, it's a great setup for the coaches, players and the fans!
