We could certainly do better than those guys. But lord, Xavien Howard? At his price tag and injury history? I don’t disagree with your premise about getting better in the secondary. But I think S is a much bigger need. We have thrown mediocre to bad players out there for far too long. If there’s an upgrade at S, I’m much more interested.

I don't know Howard's injury history is that worrisome, he had 3 scopes, but 10 ints last season, it definitely didn't rob him of production. I think they may have addressed safety , not with a high price guy, but Wilson, Kazee, Kearse, Neal in a pinch and a couple the young guys might be it.

Hope you’re right. I’m just a little more skeptical.

definitely would take an upgrade, just think Wilson showed promised and Kazee(outside the achilles) showed promise and production as well.

27 isn't old for a corner though, they usually are productive into their early 30's
The good ones who focus on their game 24x7 trying to improve their technique, watch film can. But people always forget about special teams. They are an extremely important part of the team. Everyone neglects them. Those teams with young guns on special teams are usually outstanding. These are the backups to the starters for the most case. RB is another position where the younger you are the better. LB as well.

those are what your draft picks are for, I haven't heard or seen anything negative about Howard's work ethic.

Would anyone oppose calling Miami about a trade for Xavien Howard and what would you give up.

looking to improve the team should be the goal all the time, for every team...why would a team try not to improve (yeah yeah yeah tanking)....hmmmmhe stated the obvious we should expect.

Take a look at next year’s cap for this team. They can’t afford to keep what they have, much less to trade valuable assets for someone else’s huge contract.

All teams are always looking to improve the team. I am sure the usuals will put down the FO for this though. But will praise other teams for saying it.

I think they go into TC as they are before any trade possibilities will be truly mentioned. Right now it will be 6 weeks media click bait stuff.
Speculation from fans, which is ok, makes for some good discussions at times.
I’ve never heard a team say we are trying to get worse lol
Though the actions of a few sometimes say that when they dump salaries
