If you could pick one rookie to have a HOF career, which one would you choose?

Seems we’ve reached the part of the discussion where you got busted not reading the OPs message correctly and then, in usual form, doubled down, despite everyone else getting it and using what most logical humans call “reading comprehension.” Basically it was a fun topic you tried to ruin while waving “look at me, look at me.”

OP, it made perfect sense. I also agree with your choice as it has been woefully missing from our D for ages
:hammer:
It's amazing even when it's CRYSTAL CLEAR to everyone else, some people simply can't say, "My bad. I misunderstood. I was wrong."

Reminds me of that old Monty Python skit/quip, "It's just a flesh wound."

Regardless of their draft position, if you could have one of these guys go on to have a first-ballot Hall of Fame career for the Cowboys, who would you choose? This isn't asking who has the best shot, just who you'd like it to be.

I think I would choose Bohanna. Having a nose tackle dominating at that level would change our entire team. If there's one position on the defense that could change entire games, I think it's that one.

What about you?

I would be happy with your pick.

My choice would be Israel Mukuamu. The kid won me over with his congratulatory call reaction from us. I'm an emotional guy so I'm not afraid to admit that I cried with him. If he becomes an HOF player then that means he along with all his loved ones who support him, either here or in the Congo, will never have to worry about struggling again. I always try to pull for an athlete (long as he/she is deserving) who come from underprivilege places because it inspires and gives others hope to others who might in the same predicament.

Parsons....nto because he is a first round pick...having a HOF LBer would do wonders for a defense.

Odighizuwa because if Dallas has a HOF 3-tech, they’ve gone a loooong way towards having a great defense. Plus, I think that Parsons is likely going to be very good and does have a legitimate shot at being that kind of player.

A HOF defensive lineman is a huge thing.

I’ll go with WR Eagles because it would rub salt in the Philadelphia Eagle fans’ wounds. A Cowboy UFA named Eagles is a Hall of Famer and did better than the Eagles’ 1st round pick Devanta Smith.

2nd Choice would be safety Coyle.

3rd Choice would be Mukuamu. Sounds like he was very thankful Jerry picked him.

4th Choice would be Wr Aaron Parker.
Bold choice going for someone strictly for the purpose of humiliating the Eagles. However bold, I approve this approach. Lol

exactly and your statement "Even if Bohanna turns out to be a great pick, and I like Bohanna, he wont make the HOF. Those types dont typically make the HOF." is what i am referring to. If he would want Bohanna to be that player becuase he sees such massive impact from a NT then thats his point....not what you are arguing which is going to Parsons and that hes the only player with a shot....

his post wasn't about who has a shot but rather which player (position) just drafted would you want to play at a HOF level....
you can't fix stupid.

Yep, agreed, especially for how late we selected him.

Parsons. It's been a long time since we had a truly dominant LB.

Parsons is the obvious pick but if Kelvin Joseph becomes a great player that will most benefit the franchise just because of the cost of high end CB's. It's like a QB becoming a HOF'er almost in my eyes.

I second on Bohanna.

It's really hard for a DT to make HOF, and I don't see a single gigantic NT who made it. Kevin Williams is still pending. Wilfork, Ngata, and Washington look like they're not going to make it. And they dominated for a while, but apparently not long enough to make HOF. We'd truly have a once a generation talent to have a HOF NT of that size.

It’s just a fun thread to get people thinking what position just drafted could have the biggest impact to yhe team if they turn out to surprise with great play.

honestly, it’s a bit different than usual and kinda fun to think about and discuss….that’s the whole reason we’re all here right?

not all of us, some just want to single out haterz and call them the lowest level of humanity....but ok, i'll go along.
