If Stephen wants to improve the team he should look in the mirror and fire who he sees

Take a look at next year’s cap for this team. They can’t afford to keep what they have, much less to trade valuable assets for someone else’s huge contract.

I don't know, they'll be able t work some contracts, some will come off the books, and the tv money is right around the corner, expecting the cap to rise a lot

I’ve never heard a team say we are trying to get worse lol
Though the actions of a few sometimes say that when they dump salaries

well this is a opportunity to really upgrade and get better, it's kinda been a lot of lip service. we know SJ is tight.

You're right, but they don't aggressively try and get better either. that's my point. Stephen is too frugal

While true, free agent signings are becoming more and more regrettable for teams these days. They rarely work out like planned, and those contracts end up being a burden.

I want them to be more aggressive, too, but I understand the reluctance.

I get that too, but when guys like this(productive) are possible trade bait, they usually work(Amari)

Yes.

They’ll have to cut at least two big contracts just to get under the cap. They can’t afford to be adding any big contracts.

if you truly believe that, the cap is manipulated on the regular. teams like KC keep adding and they're supposedly capped strapped

I think they think they make good decisions
Obviously they have been wrong more than right, especially in FA

IMO, Corner is not a big need for this team right now. Safety and interior DL are much bigger needs.

Bob, you might want to go in to some sort of witness protection program right now.

He's "frugal" because the Cowboys have too much cap space tied up in a handful of good players, that they are paying like great ones.
