Bradley Anae won the Pac 12 Morris trophy in 2019. The Morris Trophy is awarded annually to the best offensive and defensive linemen in the conference, as selected by opposing players.

Other winners include Terrell Suggs, Solomon Thomas, Deforest Buckner, Vita Vea, and Haloti Ngata.

Exactly, the guy ain't chopped liver. There is some talent in there. I think he just needs a legitimate opportunity and proper training camp to play at the NFL level. If they gave him more chances like they have given Randy Gregory, he would be far better already.

Bradlee Anae could develop into the exact pass rusher the Cowboys need
Will Anae finally get some playing time this year?
We went through this song and dance last year with Anae getting no playing time. I really don’t want to listen to another season of praises about Anae and his great pass rushing ability that didn’t impress the coaches enough to get playing time on a horrible defense. I hope the kid does well and becomes a great player, but these articles have been nothing more than wishful thinking. The coaches were very stupid for not letting the kid get playing time last year or he is all hype and was not good enough to play, even when Dallas was getting blown out.

Hope this is the case but every year there seems to be one player that gets overhyped and ends up failing to live up to expectations.

If Anae turns into a good backup DE for us that can spell Gregory or Lawrence, that’s a huge win for a late round pick.
Gregory and Lawrence are hard to spell.....maybe we can spot Anae a couple of vowels.

doesn't mean a thing. yes, nice list. but who are the winners on the list that didn't amount to anything in the NFL...you just listed the ones over the past upmteenth years that succeeded. is the goal to draw a conclusion?

The better the pass rush, the better the team.

But it starts with Run D to put the pass rush in a good position.

We'll see how it goes.
this.....

:hammer:

put your defense in 2nd, 3rd and short situation and the offense will have a field day....they can pass or run and makes it harder for you to rush or defend the run...

I think he’s limited to being a designated pass rush specialist.

If he can show something in that limited role I’ll be happy with the late 5th round investment.

Tyron won it in 2010.

You have to scroll down a bit to get to the prestigeous Morris Awards, but hey it's super exclusive - they only allow linemen to enter.
