I would love to see at least an average of one touchdown a game from him. That’s 17 touchdowns. I don’t care about the yardage . I’m thinking 80 a game would be good balance
I agree with more tds the better. But when the line is stacked betting on stopping Zeke and he comes through in critical moments like that thusly the tough yards, will satisfy me greatly.

Strange a football expert like yourself doesn't notice such a significant factor, isn't it?

Do you need to be an expert to see that Zeke is failing miserably to earn his 15 million per year?

For the morons, they have stats. 3.9 yards per carry, under 1000 yards rushing, ect....ect..

So what is your excuse?

Duhh..................................Moore doesnt throw enough button hooks to the FB.

I would say the Cowboys need Zeke to gain about 1,360 yards rushing for this new 17 game 2021 season. That averages out to exactly 80 yards of rushing per game. Those 80 yards rushing per game should be enough to keep opposing Defenses honest and help keep our Offense working well both for the rush and the pass.

For 15 million a year Zeke needs to be averaging 100 yard and a TD a game. Thats just Zeke.

I'd put the over/under at 1224.
That's 18 carries at 4.0 a pop across 17 games.

Tempting to take the under since BigMac isn't known for his run game.

Saving Zeke for the red zone so he'll be fresher also means the opponent's run defense will be fresher. Not really a gain in effectiveness and in fact probably a loss.

For the first time in his career, teams shouldn't be stacking the box. It should be a good year for zeke.

They haven't been stacking the box like some would think. That misconception was proven wrong several years ago.

Maybe so. How about, for the majority of his career, most teams have tried to stop the run 1st, and it shouldn't be that way this year

Yah, If I was a DC I would be happy as a clam if they handed the ball off to Zeke. Just keep giving it to Zeke.

All money aside............yards arent really the important factor for me. Anyone can rack up the yards with lots of carries. I would like to see Zeke with less touches and a higher YPC at 5.0. Then I would like to see him get around 12-15 TD's combined. That would be a much more effective Zeke.

I would like to see Pollard at 1000 yards combined and 8-10 TD's

There will not be any happy DC's who play the cowboys. The only thing Moore needs to do is take advantage of whatever weakness the defense has. The cowboys are equipped to do that.

All we need is a little lady luck on injuries and the defense to show up on Sundays. Middle of the pack overall and top 10 in turnovers would be great.

100 rushing yards a game by Zeke would definitely hurt our passing attack. Our Offense has averaged a higher scoring average per game with the passing attack being dominant in the past 2 years, compared to when our rushing attack was dominant previously.

I am all for a heavy run game, destroying them with play action, and controlling time of possession. It will help the defense. Then again I would like to see them score 30 points in half.

My comment was in regard to Zeke needing to earn his money. 80 yards per game isnt worth 15 million.

As far as rushing, the Cowboys need to be well over 100 yards a game rushing. I dont see that working against the passing game but working in conjunction with the passing game. Running out the clock in blowout wins would be fine with me.

At 80 yards rushing per game the Cowboys would have been the worst rushing attack in the NFL in 2020. Steelers were last in the NFL averaging 84 yards per game. Last year the Cowboys averaged 111 yards per game. Need to be better then that this year.

They can still be a pass first team and have good rushing numbers.

You're twisting things around. I said ZEKE needs to average around 80 yards a game. You forgot we have other RB contributors like Pollard.

Of course, that production would not equate to getting paid ridiculously so high, but blame Jerry for being the fool who gave Zeke such a ridiculous top overall RB paid contract.

I think he goes for 1200. That's not the stat that will win us games tho. IMO no fumbling will help is win games more than huge rushing games. Just consistent play and no TOs. We'll be successful with that. Hopefully

There's, apparently, much to be said about the prospects for Ezekiel Elliott's production to be greatly improved this year. The Cowboys OL seems reasonably destined to be healthier and proportionately more productive in 2021. Of course, it remains to be seen if the overall health of our offensive linemen hold up throughout the NFL's increase to 17 games this year. It'd be great if Zeke returns to his productive games of several seasons ago. Hopefully, whatever lies ahead for him will serve this team and Zeke, himself, proudly. It's, truly, high time for both to become great again! ;)

Let’s talk about production. OK so you’re the league leading rusher. What did those yards do. You start on your own 20 yard line. By the time you get to the red zone. You’re not as fresh. No I’d rather see more balance going down the field. And then use every bit of energy to pound the ball into the end zone. No, this is as much on coaching as it is on anything else. Special teams should be much better the season so we don’t have to start every drive on are side of the field. I guess there’s a reason why there’s only one rushing title leader with the ring . Some fans don’t think an extra game is a big deal. Ask the players at the end of the season how big of a deal it is. Go cowboys

Need the OL to be good this year.

even Emmitt would have struggled with that trash last season.
