The only non-divisional game where I don’t see much of a chance is at Kansas City. And yes, I think we have a good chance of beating the Bucs on opening night.
Well this is a good spot to post this lol
this is a good example of all the false article /video names, as marcus did not say these things in the video.
One guy said it was a horrible time to play the bucs, as our defense needs time to gel, and that brady is a hard 1st game.
Marcus Spears believes that Cowboys will win over Bucs in Week 1, Dak outplays Tom Brady

Dallas could possible beat any of the teams, including kc, but it will require good coaching and game plans and play calling, play design etc.
I dont think dallas coaches are up to it, but maybe they surprise me.
I do think the defense will get better as season rolls along.
The offense will continue to be great and awful in same games lol.

If and when they get to playoffs again, they have to play teams outside the div! the good teams lol outside the div.
they need 6-8 wins outside the div to be a good team.

Now look at the schedule and tell me which 6-8 teams they will beat outside the div lol.

Dallas can count on 3 maybe 4 div wins, but the most would be 6.
6+6 = 12 wins. 4+6= 10 wins

So aside from div games, do you see 6 wins?
If they cant win outside the div, they either wont make playoffs, or they will be one and done.
2021 Cowboys schedule

1: at Buccaneers
2: at Chargers
3: Eagles
4: Panthers
5: Giants
6: at Patriots

7: Bye

8: at Vikings
9: Broncos
10: Falcons
11: at Chiefs
12: Raiders (Thanksgiving)
13: at Saints
14: at Washington
15: at Giants
16: Washington
17: Cardinals
18: at Eagles
I see 6-7 potential wins, outside div, but not sure they can do it. Big maybe.
Panthers
Patriots
Vikings
Broncos
Falcons
Raiders
Saints
Arizona

I think all of those games are winnable if we are relatively healthy and the defense is not a train wreck.

I've said before we will go 13-4 and I'm sticking with it. We will start slow going 1-2 because Dak will be a little unsure and rusty because of the ankle and the layoff. But we will go 12-2 the rest of the way beating Washington in the Divisional round in a tough game. They'll finally get that gorilla off their backs by destroying Aaron Rodgers in the NFC Championship game. Brady's age will eventually catch up to him and I think it will this year. We will win 37-23 against the Chiefs in the Super Bowl.

If they don't improve at all then you're right.

They have improved....

A better question is which ones CANT they win? Pats and Chiefs are the ONLY games on the entire schedule I would put down as a likely loss. But truth be told, they could win both of those.
Kansas City sucks. If we’re a decent team we should definitely beat them . And the patriots and not the team they once were without Brady

Hate to copy and paste but this was my way too early schedule breakdown....

Tough call. When you break down the schedule we play 5 teams that finished above .500 last year....

11-5 @TB
14-2 @KC
8-8 LV
12-4 @NO
8-8 AZ

We get LV and AZ at home where we should have an advantage.

We play 5 teams that finished 7-9 last year....

WFT X 2
@Chargers
@NE
@Minnesota

Four of those game are on the road where they have the advantage.

Then we play 7 teams with losing records.

4-11-1 Philly X 2
5-11 Carolina
6-10 NYG X 2
5-11 Denver
4-12 Atlanta

Except for the Giants and Philly they are all at home.

If we split the division games we have 3 Ws and winning the games we should Carolina, Denver and Atlanta we have 6 Ws.
Getting past LV and AZ we're at 8.
Now we need to go on the road at TB, at KC, at NO, at the Chargers, at NE, and at Minnesota (or sweep one of the division games) to get 9.

Minnesota and NO look doable, the Chargers and NE possibles.
Tampa Bay, early is good for us. Brady doesn't worry where he lands in the play-offs, just get there.

But I digress. No way I'm predicting 14-3 if we come out all schizoid and start this 1W, 1L garbage like passed years.
I like our chances at 10.
good post.
after reading, I looked at schedule again, and noticed after TB the next 8 games are all teams that were losers last year like cowboys.
after that things get tougher.
So Cowboys better start off winning most of those 8 games, but dont get too excited if they do.
I now think what they do with those 8 games will determine the whole season. They need mostly wins during that period. 7-2 would be good.
Then they would only need 3-4 more wins in the tougher part in later part of season.
1: at Buccaneers
2: at Chargers
3: Eagles
4: Panthers
5: Giants
6: at Patriots

7: Bye

8: at Vikings
9: Broncos
10: Falcons

while i agree we may need to to get better i do believe TB wont take us seriously, big head syndrome for SB hangover and we have all offseaosn to prepare and DQ and our team healthy ie dak and Zeke the ol etc will be chomping at the bit take it out on a SB team..statement game, nothing to lose can breed some extra motivation..

sure most likely we lose but i could see that scenario where we win do to my above comments..

I would say you have to be more than decent to beat a great team like KC. As far as the Pats, I meant to say the bucs.
