If and when they get to playoffs again, they have to play teams outside the div! the good teams lol outside the div.
they need 6-8 wins outside the div to be a good team.

Now look at the schedule and tell me which 6-8 teams they will beat outside the div lol.

Dallas can count on 3 maybe 4 div wins, but the most would be 6.
6+6 = 12 wins. 4+6= 10 wins

So aside from div games, do you see 6 wins?
If they cant win outside the div, they either wont make playoffs, or they will be one and done.
2021 Cowboys schedule

1: at Buccaneers
2: at Chargers
3: Eagles
4: Panthers
5: Giants
6: at Patriots

7: Bye

8: at Vikings
9: Broncos
10: Falcons
11: at Chiefs
12: Raiders (Thanksgiving)
13: at Saints
14: at Washington
15: at Giants
16: Washington
17: Cardinals
18: at Eagles
I see 6-7 potential wins, outside div, but not sure they can do it. Big maybe.
That is ez we will win the 1st 7 and then win out

Love Romo but I think Dak has an edge in the leadership department.

I love my team so I root for them all unless they are unlikable, and both are likable. If I had to pick it would be Dak because he does have the edge in the leadership department like you said. I don't think Dak would go to Cabo instead of studying his next opponent. Plenty of time to go on vacation in the off season. People have said that it didn't matter because he didn't know who they was going to play. I say BS because it was either the Giants or the Bucs. He could've prepared for both teams. I've never heard of Brady or any Hall of Fame QB going on vacation during the playoffs. I'm sure it was Jessica's idea but still. The Giants had a great defense so he could've put in some extra work on them even though they was 2-0 against them in the regular season.

Who says they will beat 6 teams outside of their own division? The only thing I can promise is we won't lose week 7. :D

I was a big Romo fan, but that trip was very disappointing. That said, Romo would give 110% effort every game. I'm still a fan.

I loved him then and even more after watching his "Football Life." It's a little disappointing they didn't include his final drive as a Cowboy against the Eagles where comes in and takes them down the field for TD in less than two minutes. He made it look easy. If it wasn't for his injuries I believe he has a ring. He did play well against the Giants. If Patrick Crayton doesn't stop on that crossing route we win that game. That intentional grounding on that last drive wasn't the right call either. Another bad call against him in a big game. Like the 12 men in the huddle in the Green Bay game.

Cowboys win the Division. Washington beats someone in the wildcard. They won't play each other IF that happens? I might be mistaken.
yeah that could happen, now it could also happen in the WC round, since only 1 team gets the bye.
also if dallas is WC and wash wins div.

It threw me because it has been so long since dallas and wash played each other in playoffs !
Been decades !

it's the "magic " number !
think of it as at least 6.

if they win all 6 div games, which is unlikely , they could get by with 4 non div wins, but then they wont be able to compete with those teams in
playoffs.
To me winning 6 non div games says they can compete in playoffs.

I can see us beating the Chargers, Broncos, Saints, Pats, Panthers. The Cards and the Raiders could be a toss up.

Since I said we would go 13-4, in my eyes we will win the NFC and get a bye. Come to think of it, I can't remember the last time we did without looking. I know they beat us in the late 70's with George Allen as their coach. Other than that I can't think of another time. That's weird.

The Chargers will be every bit of a challenge as the Raiders, if not more.

This new defense starting the season against Brady and then Herbert will be quite a test. Herbert had a fine rookie season and should only be better this year.

Kansas City sucks. If we’re a decent team we should definitely beat them . And the patriots and not the team they once were without Brady
Well both those teams have better HC and staff than dallas. So chances are they will be out coached, and with KC probably outplayed too.
the KC game is deeper into the season game 11 so maybe dallas def and off will be playing good by that point.
But it is in KC, and probably will be cold by then, which dallas has sucked in the cold and rain games in recent years.
Patriot game is again in NE, out doors, so they will have home adv .

winning is possible but unlikely in both those games.

yeah we have played the giants and eagles in playoffs this century , but not wash. partly due to wash has been worse in this century than the
cowboys lol.

true people think dallas will beat those teams based on they havent been good recently , and last year.
But it goes both ways, they could beat dallas and dallas could beat them.
I know teams sometime win the games people think they will surely lose, and lose the games people think they will win for sure.

I know we're going to be better, but I really don't have a clue what the Cowboys will be this season.

I expect us to beat:
Broncos, Falcons & Saints

I think we'll probably beat:
Panthers, Vikings & Raiders

I won't be shocked if we beat:
Tampa Bay, Chargers & Arizona

That's nonsense. Beating a team once doesn't have anything to do with beating that same team a second time in the playoffs. That other team is most likely more motivated to win the second game. And this other team is no pushover, after all, they did make the playoffs. All wins are precious in the NFL and none guarantee another win against anyone. There is no magic number. Unless you are beating every opponent by 21 points you should never feel good about taking on an opponent just because you beat them the last time you played.

I am not a Cam fan at all, but didn't they also have a bunch of starters opt out last season?
