Um…. A few? The understatement of the century.

You think anybody in your lifetime is going to win seven Super Bowls let alone four? Maybe Mahomes but three more even for him?

What in the world is this thread about? Dak in the same conversation as Brady or Montana or Manning or Aikman or Elway or Staubach or Favre?

I hope not unless we’re all wide eyed teenagers who think winning Super Bowls are easy and we’ve got one of the greatest of all time on the roster.

Really?

He’s not even Marino or Fouts or Dawson or Stabler or Bradshaw.

And I’d take Josh Allen and Herbert right now before him.

He’s a good QB who hasn’t won a thing who needs a lot of things to go right around him.

I like Dak I hope we win with him and I’m optimistic about the future but I still have no idea what this thread is trying to say.

Something about a GOAT?
The only thing Dak has succeed in is convincing his team that he's worth the 2nd biggest contract ever without winning a single thing. That's the only GOAT thing he has done.

I don’t think that would’ve made a difference. Mahomes was horrible. Overthrows under throws. He’s the quarterback I expected him to be. We’re Super Bowl performance by any quarterbacks since Jared Goff

its called pressure

Actually he might’ve done better. He’s better on the move
I respect your opinions, but Dak absolutely would not have done better.

There are levels to this and Mahomes talent is in another universe compared to Dak.

Mahomes in 3 years has won an MVP and lead his team to 2 Super Bowls while winning one of them.

We'd be elated if Dak retired with the accomplishments that Mahomes, in only 3 years, already has.

aaron Rodgers got a large contract before he actually won it. similarly
Eli Manning
Drew Brees
Joe Flacco

so is this rule you just put forth for QBs or for all players?

there is a lot of players who get contracts before they win it....given that there is one superbowl champion per year and one winning team, then its only logical to conclude based on what you just said, that no body should get a new contract, because they didn't win it....so there is about 95% bad contracts in the NFL.. so NO was stupid for paying brees for not having won anything and so are all these other teams....right?

If you go off how Dak has actually played in playoff games he has played good in them.....but again if winning is what your judging every player on (which again is fine as it is the ultimate goal) then there is not a Cowboys player worth keeping on the last 25 years worth of teams.

It’s called not being very good under pressure. They don’t give Prescott any slack. I’m not giving it to Mahomes. I don’t think he should’ve beat the 49ers. Three Hail Marys and that game bailed him out

Explain Hail Mary’s? They are throw it up for grabs with minimal chances. There is a difference between that and throws most guys can’t make going across the field to open guys. Mahomes is a goat and and has showed it in short order. The difference in this game was D and pressure. The same happened twice to Brady bs Giants. Doesn’t take away greatness. Daks not on the conversation because it doesn’t go beyond Rd 1. That’s not a slight but truth.

I’m a Dak fan but this thread is laughable from a GOAT standpoint. I can always tell when one of these threads goes sideways when it’s 20 something pages. Its like an inverted pyramid where it starts with a large group of posters and by page 15 has funneled to the same 6-8 “hater” or “lover” fighters

let me prove it . He lost his starting center. He’s starting left tackle. He’s starting wide receiver. His starting Tight end , Elliot was on suspension on and off. And he still manage to have a winning season. With the word special-teams in defense. Mahomes had the world and he couldn’t even score a touchdown

Yup.

Goes to show, D wins championships. That will never change.

And that's why most people simply stay away from Dak threads, especially after the first page or two. It gets really really stupid.

Bradys the GOAT. But Dak will show, yet again, that he can hold his own against the best of them. Brady had great teams behind him. Dak has had awful teams behind him.
Really? I mean... cmon. His rookie year he had the best situation in all of football. A DOMINANT line, the best RB in football, and a top WR . Dallas hasnt had an "Awful," team around him yet. Let him go play for the Jags ot Jets.... then come back and talk to me about Awful teams.

D wins championships......bahahahahhahahahaha. Howd the bears D workout a few years back with Trubisky and that powerhouse offense the Bears were trotting out every year. Obviously having a top D is preferred, but having a HOF QB is the goal of every team.

Because God knows that winning and losing is all on the QB and nobody else bears any responsibility what so ever. That's why Marino sucked and didn't deserve any new.contracts and Dilfer should have received the largest contract ever because he won a Superbowl.

It's really that simple.o_O
