If he plays at a pro bowl level you think he and his agent are gonna settle for 2 years at 5 million per year? You gotta be more specific than a reasonable short term contract. I am willing to sign any player uin the entire NFL to a reasonable short term contract. He is gonna be looking for mega bank.

He probably would want it, but he probably wouldnt get it. For all the reasons we wouldnt do it either.

Probably not. That doesnt mean I wouldnt do it if he will.

YOU said you wouldnt resign him for any reason. I gave you one where we SHOULD sign him.

we SHOULD NOT because he will either be injured or overpriced

simple

but my prediction is that he will be magically healthy and play great and stupid fans will clamor for him to be paid and Jerry will do it and he will be injured most of next year

crazy how that contract year is the unicorn out of all the years for a lot of players

no rewind to 2019-u have 19th pick-do u take him? Think thats why so many are frustrated with him. He has talent but hasnt been on the field enough to justify the 19th pick. It also isnt a shock. He had injury concerns going into draft
Hindsight is always 20/20 vision.

agree but original question was why were there so many haters of LVE. its not hindsight-many were saying on day of pick we would get what we have-a good player that will have problems getting on the field. He was taken to high at 19

I do not think anyone said it was a degenerative neck issue. Except for the fans saying it in their usual crap on everything way.
According to this he is fully recovered.

Lol he wasnt good even when he was healthy after his rookie season. Him being injured as well as him not playing well caused him to not get his 5th year picked up. There were times he looked worse than Jaylon

I dont think he will be healthy. If he IS healthy, then yah, he will probably have a good year. Especially since they have addressed the Dline in the offseason.

But like I said...........if he does have a good year, then I would certainly listen to short term type contracts at reasonable prices. If he wants big money, good luck getting it.

But how many games will he play in? The longer season can't be good for his chances.

Of course, Dan Q is impressed, LVE is the best LBer on the team. Puppy Parsons may be runner-up someday but for now, the Wolf Hunter is King.
