There is one stat that I will keep a close watch on to assess Elliott's contribution and it isn't yards, it is 1st down conversions. I see that as his job 1 with this offense just like McC's RB's were in GB.

Elliott's job 1 is to keep the offense on the field and defense on the sideline.

From him personally we need 1700 yards or his contract ain't worth it. AND NO TAPPING OUT. THIS AIN'T A 2 MAN BOXING MATCH!! And if we're inside the 10, he BETTER score TDs!!!!! Tired of the primadonna attitude on this team.

I'd like to see 1300 and a 4.5 YPC. They need to share the workload.

The headline should read Zeke needs better ball security to reclaim his spot as the best back in the league.

Multi-run threat offense. Zeke, Pollard, Dak, Lamb. We shouldn't just spread the carries around, it should be unclear who is getting the ball on any given snap.

The days of "we're running this guy and you can't stop us" are done. Especially for Zeke. Mixing it up to increase uncertainty in the defense is the name of the game. That's how you get the most total production, and more efficient production per player.

So how many of us fans will hold their breath the 1st time Dak takes off running? As he gets tackled or gets sacked.
Even the Dak "dislikers" may do so, but some will hope for other things that is not his safety.

Agree though, Moore needs to keep it mixed up, this can still keep it based around Zeke as being the main threat. But with the WR's it will keep the defenses off guard. Something he did not do last year. But it was an odd year with all the injuries.

Hard to think Zeke.can control as much as you want. The team has to help him alot.

Look at the yardage. 5 yards 10 yards that’s where all the green dots are in the middle. Is that an entire season of passes. Which makes it even less There’s only two green dots between the hashmarks. LMAO yeah explain it to me
There are alot of red dots when the passes are over 10 yds. . . Dak relies on His ultra athletic WRs to win one on one. . . He is scared of the safeties because he is weak and he knows it

While i'll let others that are far more interesting in hefty rushing totals per season and games, leading NFL in rushing, etc.

.. while i'll be more focused on Zeke's splash plays, ..how many 20+ yards and even 40+ yards Zeke is gonna have.
in a much more wide open spread pass attack, he should varied and schemed to where he can make more 20-40 yrds big plays with returned burst and agility
versus just mere power plays and angry runs the last two years.

That is a ridiculous statement. The man is built like a middle linebacker. His arm strength is top three in the league

I dont lol but dallas coaches might.
Although I think jones boys want elliot to get 80% of carries, so thats how it will be.
The only way the coaches could get tony more involved is thru passing to him.

I am all for balance, but I dont expect that unless they want to protect dak this season.
I think it may be the opposite, and the jones boys want to see dak having 400 yd + games, to justify his contract.
That means more passing than running.
Even though dink and dunk was a winning recipe. We went to 400 yards plus and it was 50-50.

I didnt say he was gonna fight them . . . I was saying that He is fearful of throwing any where a safety is because that would require Him to read a defense and be a QB rather then a Running QB that can get the ball in the vicinity of a WR.

Well they have to give it to him first.
dallas tends to pass if it is more than 2 yds to go.
They would rarely hand off to him if it is 3yds, and never if above that , unless they are way ahead late in game.

So while that may be his job if you were oc, it wont happen with moore and mike.

Splash plays and fumbles...that’s what will determine his effectiveness. I’ve got no doubts about his ability to have a high volume of carries and get dirty yards.
