He went from wearing belly shirts to pathetic old man work out clips. Sad indeed.

These offseason videos are great and all, but the proof is in the pudding. Do it on the field during the regular season.

Hoping for a big year for him - been 25 years since we last hoisted the Lombardi and my folks are getting to the point where each year is touch and go. Would be great to give them one last hurrah.

Wow Zeke avoids trash cans. What an animal.
Yet Bears jump in them, maybe he is a very expensive Bear for this running game if time and touches managed correctly.
Thats why I advocate constantly to find the RB3,, Pollard is fine in his role, but another back that can spell Zeke and manage his minutes,, I know its not basketball but this is now an even longer season, and a healthy Zeke in the post season is part of the "healthy" equation that could win Lombardis.
Strong running game becomes pivotal late in seasons, post season, and SBs.

He's overpaid in today's NFL. That's what some fans have an issue with.

I hear ya. But those people should take it out on Jerry and not Zeke. You, me or anyone here, wouldn't take a big pay raise even if we didn't deserve that raise in the eyes of other people.

In fairness, Zeke held out. It wasn't like Jerry just showed up at his house one random summer day and handed him the deal. Zeke held out, threatened to not play unless he was made the highest paid TB in football.

At the time I think most of us agreed he was the best RB in the NFL, so he deserved a raise, IMO. Most Rbs don't last long in todays NFL. I'm almost certain that his next contract will be pale in comparison. So this current contract is the one him and his family will live comfortably on when he retires with health issues from getting hit just about every time he has the ball. And I still believe those people should blame Jerry for giving him a raise even when he had a few years left on his rookie contract. But I understand your point, man. Not trying argue here. I'm just trying to stick up for one of my favorite players. ;)

1. Trash cans no hit back (Bloodsport reference).
2. Let's see Zeke in pads with hungry linebackers wanting to take his head off.
3. Can this alleged zip last all year?

One thing Zeke has never been is a RB who breaks down as the year goes on. His best YPC for a month is December

So because he is eluding stationary garbage cans means he is looking better? Okay then.

Agreed. I said a few days ago that Zeke’s best path was catching more passes and being more of a closer. Keep him fresh for the late season games. 400 plus carries won’t work.

I believe he just proved it in the video, hater.

Thats a broad response.
I wasnt speaking to everyone, I was speaking to Zeke and his role specifically on this team.

Well yeah, what player says “I play so much better when I’m overused and underutilized?”

Big backs tend to endure through long seasons, and Zeke is no exception. So any quickness he has today may or may not be fool’s gold, but when it’s established in September it’s likely not to diminish by December (as per anecdotal evidence).
