Alot changes in the off season.....as of right now my top 4....

Tampa Bay
NY Giants
Dallas
Carolina

:muttley:

If you actually believe that - it's hard to tell if/when you're being serious - no one should give credence to your opinions.

I will gladly accept your apology in November when the Giants and Carolina look like playoff contenders....both of their defenses are stacked.

I can't put a team led by Ryan Fitzpatrick in a top 4 of anything.

Tampa Bay
Green bay (with Rodgers)

Chicago
The entire NFC West.

Pick two teams out of the last 5 to go along with Tampa and GB. If I had to pick I'd say the Rams and 49ers. I'd love to say the Cowboys but I really don't know what to think of them.
I would love to have Fitzpatrick...

My top teams..
TB, Rams, Seattle, Arizona, Packers, SF then some nfc team

FRISCO - Dan Orlovsky recently made an appearance on ESPN's NFL Live, where he named the Washington Football Team as one of his top four teams in the NFC.
WFT was joined, in his view, by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Los Angeles Rams, and the Arizona Cardinals.
So, no Dallas Cowboys in the bunch.
The Washington Football Team has been known as a defensive powerhouse, so it can be expected that the defensive side of the ball has garnered some national praise. But Orlovsky showed his love to the other side of the ball for the WFT, too.

Naming
Terry McLaurin and Curtis Samuel, and how the recently-acquired Samuel can be a key to this offense. Two other players he said to look out for to be contributors were wideout Dyami Brown and running back Antonio Gibson.
Orlovsky continued, "Those are four guys that have absolute gas on offense."

for WFT its going to come down to QB play...which Fitz will show up from week to week....he has a tendency to catch fire one game and then not able to hit side of a barn another game...but there is no denying their defense, which will keep them in the games.....they built their DL much like we build our OL...with a lot of top talent, building inside out...and their pass rush is going to be scary good

49RS? ARZ? NO?
SORRY BUT I DON'T THINK ANY OF THEM ARE ACTUALLY VERY GOOD AND DEFINITELY DON'T SEE THEM AHEAD OF DALLAS.

WFT? THEY BEAT US TWICE LAST YEAR, BUT WE WERE CRUSHED BY INJURIES. IF THEY DO THAT AGAIN THEN MAYBE I'LL BELIEVE IT. THEIR DEFENSE IS VERY GOOD, AND THEY HAVE A COUPLE OF WEAPONS, BUT THAT OLINE IS STILL IN SHANBLES AND THE QB SITUATION IS FAR FROM FIXED, I JUST DONT SEE THEM BEING AHEAD OF US.

IMHO, IT'S TB, GB, LAR, SEA, DAL, MIN, WFT

Wft does have a good defense on paper but they haven't proven to be elite.

They gave up 30 or more points to the Cardinals, Browns, Ravens, Rams , Lions and Buccs.

To add context:

After week 5 only one team scored more than 23 points against Washington's defense (and neither the Steelers nor Seahawks scored more than 20 pts)...which probably explains why--even with those 30+ point allowe games--they were ranked 5th in points allowed per game. And the Browns were the beneficiaries of an obscene number of turnovers and 3-an-outs. They started 3 drives after turnovers from the WFT 35, 28, and 24 yard line and scored 21 of their 35 points on those drives (another 3 pts came on a drive after a turnover that started on the Wash. 41 yd line). The Bucs scored 30+ against everyone in the playoffs.

They held the Steelers to their 2nd lowest point total of the season (Bills' defense held them to the lowest), and held the Seahawks to their 3rd lowest point total of the season. They were also tied for 4th for most defensive points scored, 3rd in completion percentage allowed, 4th in yards per play allowed, and 4th in passing yards per attempt allowed.

You're right in that they're not elite (yet), and they did start off slow...but their defense is far more than just good on paper.

I don't know about that, but he does bear the name of some bad guy in a low budget Eastern European horror movie.

Velcome. I am Orlovsky. Prey, enter my home of free vill and let me discuss upon zee NFC... faworites.

Wrong genre Corso. Orlovsky is the Eastern Bloc dipstick that always gets shanked by 007 Corso.

are media and fans clueless to what team we had past game 4 last season? most of it was made up of 3rd stringers..do they want a badge of honor for being the seniors taking lunch money from ours freshman team??

I'm not the one getting all worked up. Wasn't bragging on behalf of the Cards. Just stating the fact that they embarrassed us. No need to read any more into it than that.

Picking two teams to provide context?

Unlike many here, I appreciate opinions from fans from other teams because we are all football fans and obviously we cant all be fans of the same team. Brian Mitchell and Daryl Green are two of my favorite football players of all time.

You will not find many on this board that will disagree that WFT has a really good defense. They should have moved all in this year to get a franchise QB. Maybe they can get Rogers? IDK.

I grew up watching the Cowboys and Commanders on TV playing football and it was one of the best rivalries of all time. I would love to see Washington and Dallas at the top of the NFCE again so I would have someone I loved to hate.
