Little early there sport
Better late than never. When we lost Byron Jones it turned out to be impacful. We have not been able to fix the issue..he took away half the field defensively and just needed another safety to fix the secondary. Now it's lbes we need plus a CB and a safety. We are not ready for this year expecting rookies to fix it. How realistic is that? Not very. I prefer a vet back there and surround him with youth to teach them. We have nobody like that.

I would like Sherman as well
Just thought you were early in proclaiming him MVP.

I want help. Last
Last Year if we had signed Earl we would have had a much better secondary instead of the seives we had. Same thing with Sherman now. People say these guys have lost a step..but so what? They think faster than anybody else and Quinn knows how to use them. We did not have Quinn calling the defense as now.

By the end of this season, we will forget all about everyone else's senior citizen CB's.

The best DB's for the Cowboys are going to be their youngest guys with their inexpensive contracts. I just keep thinking that these guys are going to be very aggressive and we will see a big change when it comes to the Cowboys and their takeaway ranking in the NFL.

They'll get burned occasionally, no doubt, but they are going to snag some balls. It will turn into a contest between Diggs, Joseph and Wright. It may even inspire the older guys, 26 year old Lewis and 28 year old brown.
'plasticman' - kudos for your post.
I believe Diggs will have a breakout 2nd season along with rooks Joseph and Wright stepping in & up to bolster this defense to be a league top ten unit.

Also - salute to your avatar - honoring Tom Landry - a standout athlete in HS and college who still went to serve his country in the military at times of war.

Sherman would be the CB5 on our team at his current level.
What makes you think that. He was an All Pro in 2019. Yes the injury bug got him last year but you look at this roster and see 4 CB's that are better. I would have to disagree. Maybe 2

I hope not. Over-the-hill CB who isn’t even on the roster. If he’s MVP, a few dozens players have severely underperformed.

Fully prepared to run for cover... the defensive line.

Ive seen crazier turn arounds in the NFL from season to season....with a full TC and new blood..this could happen. If it does happen we are in for a good season!!!

LVE is going to have a monster year and so is Parsons. Diggs will shine now that he has a full year under his belt. DLAW will do his usual which will mean pressure from his side of the DL, but my moneys on Gregory. He is going to play lights out with the NFLs drug non-factor now and a full off-year and TC behind him.
