Likes- Leadership qualities, durable, capable of making good game decisions. Throws well when in a rhythm.
Dislikes- Inconsistent arm or throwing capability. He looked great fitting the ball into tight places his first year and that quality has seemed to diminish since. Does not yet have strong pocket awareness. Cannot yet carry the team offensively unless all other parts (run game/oline) are working well.
I hope to see improvement in all areas this year. If not, I'm afraid he'll always be just above average.

If Tony Romo and Dak Prescott can do what they did with Garrett as the head coach then absolutely Patrick Mahomes can do that ten fold. If Garrett had Mahomes instead of Romo or Dak then maybe Garrett would probably have a couple Super Bowl rings and be considered a success. It works both ways.

Mahomes is the type of talent that he doesn't need to be in the perfect system to be great, but he just so happens to be in the perfect system with Reid.
to think and say garrett would have won superbowls. how many careers did he ruin? If not for Romo, he would have been fired years ago. I can't count the number of losses he pulled from jaws of victory....but you are now defending garrett to justify an argument you are making.

geez man....a little common sense.....

I dislike Dak because he hasn't given me a lifetime pass to Joe's Pizza (best Italian food and NY pizza on the planet) on Matlock at I20 in Arlington and a car to get there - make it a Jeep!!!:muttley:

Romo was good no doubt, and you're right Garrett probably would have been fired if Romo wasn't as good as he was....but Romo or Dak are not Mahomes good.

Mahomes would have won with that 07, 14, and 16 team and that would have change Garretts legacy.

Romo and Dak wasn't good enough to overcome Garretts shortcoming and make deep runs. Mahomes is good enough.

It's Mahomes more than it's Reid, just like it was Brady more than it was Belicheck.

Ya'll really just see what you want to see don't ya? Nobody is defending Garrett. Ya'll just want to blame anybody you can for your favorite players short comings.

If that is true, then explain his failures at Texas Tech.

What kinda of argument is that? I've literally never seen anyone say "Well, yeah, hes been the MVP and won a Super Bowl and lost another...but...but...umm...ummmm...WHAT ABOUT COLLEGE?!?!"

Goodness ya'll really reach, huh? Mahomes is a already a GOAT and a winner, but rest assured ya'll will try and knock him down somehow.

I don't dislike or like him, I do however cheer for him. But I'll be damned if I'm going to talk about him everyday all day.
:flagwave:

Why don't you tell that to Dak's fan club who keep posting his meaningless stats each and every day in an unending attempt at trying to sway opinion? As if his stats really mean anything to fans who want wins, not stats.

I wouldn't care if Dak had thrown for 700 yards a game since 2016 (which he hasn't) if in the end his record since 2016 is still something mediocre like 29-27. And then he had the nads to demand the 2nd highest contract ever after accomplishing nothing.

Wanna know why I'm not part of his fan club? Thats why.

No need for elaboration if you don't want, but I'd like to see if you can name one play or moment that swayed you to like or dislike Dak as a player.
My moment was when he was on the bench and he threw his Gatorade cup to the trashcan and missed. He stood up, picked it up and put it in the trashcan. That was the moment that I started rooting hard for him.

Lol...oh, hell...you trying to start some chit. It really does not matter if anyone likes Dak or not. But, I am really getting tired of his name everyday...lol.

I'll like him as our QB, I hate his fans that shove his name down anyone's throat if you do not worship the guy. It's getting to the point that I would rather talk about Tad. I wonder how he is doing?

I'm not sure if there was one play that amazed me, but I saw way to many bad plays. The day he got injured is the day I will pull for him to succeed...other than that? He's just another football player, nothing as special as what is said here everyday about Tad's brother.
(here come the troll).

Dak on 1 2....

Wait, Cowboys on three! 1...2...3.

Tad is doing great now that he will never have to work another day in his life, assuming he has ever worked one to begin with. Notice how quiet he has been since Dak got his undeserved pay raise?
