Since we had zero quality plug guys(Maybe Galley), it was a need. And this was a relatively poor draft for disrupting DE's. To get one, we'd have had to take a shot at one of the top ones, and they all came w/ major questions. Not to mention that Parsons was simply way too good to pass up.

For every Charles Haley, you need a Tony Tolbert. And if you can get a Tolbert in the 3rd, you did good.

You really think one of these guys is tony Tolbert? And if you dont have a Charles Haley, then Tolbert means nothing.

There percentage of 3rd round players that become "sure fire starters" is actually quite low.

EXACTLY!!!! So I would have traded two of them to trade up into the top of the 2nd round. Nicely done!!

Golston= Tony Tolbert
Osa= La' Roi Glover

Or @ least that is what I think the Cowboys are hoping they drafted. :popcorn:

Doubt if Gholston is gonna be used that far outside on the edge as Tolbert in a 4-3.
doesn't have that kind of burst as a 4-3 end.

Highly possible. And, correct.

So, if you don't have a Haley in front of you, get the other guy. Highly highly unlikely that there was anything even close to resembling Haley in this draft.
