I guess much like playing defense in basketball.

I want to see how Quinn fixes the safety problem. His hybrid play for his new players seems like it will be pretty iffy to me. If the offense sees it a few games we will probably change it. Seems like more thought is required to do it. I see breakdowns galore.

Defensive tackle, middle linebacker, strong safety. It looks like we have a greed all three positions so we will see

Hope that players we acquired this year on the defensive line pan out a whole lot better than McCoy and Poe did.

Not over night that is for sure, but at least the baby steps have taken place.
Would rather invest in the youth we have than pay check collecting McCoys and Poes...
So we play with the cards we are dealt, lets see how the young big boys perform, before dismissing them.

Effort is the main thing.

NFL defenders should be able to defend the run no problem. Especially in a leavhe where about 3 or 4 teams even care about running the ball.

Impossible as most of our cap is invested in our offense.
Dak, Zeke, Coop, Offline, and in the end all they end up doing is beating dog teams!

Actually finding that WR4 fast tracks the offense asap into an even higher threat level as compared to overhauling and rebuild process taking place on defense.
Defense is going to be a work in progress and we hope for the best, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with adding another weapon or two offensively.
This offense is going to have to carry this defense for awhile until the D can start finding itself and Quinn can start putting the pieces of the puzzle together.
More threats mean more potential points, got 11 prospects after Coop, Gallup and Lamb entering camp.
