TrueIf they cant focus just because some cameras are filming them, then we didn't have a championship level team in the first place IMO

This team has not struck me as mentally toughWhy would it not keep them focus. It may make this group more focused.
They just treat it like extra reporters and cameras around, with a little more access than usual. For which half the team doesn't even know what the normal is yet.
You have all the new players from 2020, that had no cameras or reporters, or very minimal. And now the 2021 players added, and back yo normal. It will be overwhelming enough of the annual TC media circus anyway for half, if not more of the team. So a few extra cameras won't be anything different to them.
The vet players, I think most are mature enough not to let it get in the way of what they need to do.
This team has not struck me as mentally tough
That only works for jury duty.Yes. They happily accepted.
It's easy to say no. Just tap your eye with a knife and tell them to leave you be. You paid them fair.
I was pissed at Parcell's for leaving when he did, but the only time we had mentally tough teams was under Johnson and Parcell's.This team has not struck me as mentally tough
I dunno you tell me. Better yet build me a chart for each super bowl winner that says how many years running each has either made the playoff or missed the playoffs. Then come back and tell me if you think qualifying for hard knocks is still a good thing.Ahh so no team has ever won the super bowl while missing the previous 2 season of playoffs?

You brought up the 2 years, so maybe you should build it to prove your point.
That's a bold faced lie. The only teams that qualify are teams that weren't championship level in previous years. We all know you hate the Cowboys but at least be truthful in your hate. The only teams that qualify to do hard knocks are teams that are not championship level.

The criteria has three simple prerequisites:That's a bold faced lie. The only teams that qualify are teams that weren't championship level in previous years. We all know you hate the Cowboys but at least be truthful in your hate.
Correcto moondoI was pissed at Parcell's for leaving when he did, but the only time we had mentally tough teams was under Johnson and Parcell's.
Jimmy's Team were tough, step on your throat and not let up.Not for a long time.
Well, it depends how you define mentally tough. They never give up, so it seems. They keeping fighting until the end. As we seen the come backs often, but come up short lately. As they fall too far behind.
But as for mentally tough, I understand. They do not have it from the start of a game too often. Then they fall behind, only to toughen up some.
They need it from the start, and keep it up. We have not seen that for years.
Many people think the 90's teams just blew people out. The games were always close at halftime and a lot of times we were losing. When the 3rd quarter started they just let Emmitt Smith punch them in the mouth and the defense just pinned their ears back until they just beat them into submission. It was a different game back then but we never dominated teams on the scoreboard, they were punished and defeated on the field.Jimmy's Team were tough, step on your throat and not let up.

That was NFC East football at the time, wear the opponent down. From 1982-95 the East won 8 SBs.............Many people think the 90's teams just blew people out. The 1999 Rams did it. They went 4-12 and 5-11 the prior two seasons.
Not sure if anyone else has done it.
Nope, in the other Hard Knocks thread @JoeKing and several other posters were spreading the lie that the Jones asked to be on the show, and every time a link was posted to show that wasn't true the rebuttal was that we had no confirmation that they didn't ask. This is said confirmation.
they couldn't refuse it, the process has been posted many times. wrong againYes. They happily accepted.

They might not have been asked, but I am sure they did not protest once they were selected. Notice how Stephen Jones reflects in his comments that it comes with the territory of being a Cowboy.
