Sunday Night Football

All the nationally televised games like Monday, Thursday and Sunday nights are shown live on the NFL App. I watch all of them on my iPad. I also get any of the Sunday games that are local in my area… which is often the Cowboys.

Hello. I thought I tried this last year but had an issue. Maybe I'm confused. Any common mistake that I might have been making?

Also, do you know if you can you put the NFL app on a smart TV or streaming stick?

Yes. Are you telling us you are actually John Dutton that owns the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch? Not to be confused with the John Dutton who formerly played defensive tackle for the Cowboys in the early 80's. Lol.
OPs moniker is CattleRancher

I think the nfl app streams the sunday night game for free. Not positive but I think it has the broadcast plus some extra camera views.

Espn + does not stream the monday night games. I think the nfl app on a mobile device may however.

NFL app streams all national games, as well you get the Sunday local games in your area.
At least they have done for the past few years or so.

Plenty of sites where you can stream any game for free on the internet. The European sites aren't blocked. I use a burner computer and stream them just in case it gets a virus. Been working for years that way.
which sites? message me if you know a few...thanks

I’m not sure man. I just downloaded the app onto my iPad and it immediately let me watch the nationally televised games and anything shown in my area.

The only thing that I might check is to ensure that your device allows your location to be shared with the app. Since it shows what is available in your area, I suppose that it has to know your location in order to provide the correct games along with the National games. Perhaps that might keep it from showing, I’m not sure.

On my iPad, the app is set to share location “while using” the app. I have no issue with that because the NFL app is a trusted app.

Other than that, I have no idea why it wouldn’t show you the games.

It is great though because I never have any connection issues, even when I’m not on WiFi and am just using cellular data. There are sites that you can pirate to get the games from but those have connection and reliability issues, not to mention safety concerns. Plus all the pop-ups.

I will occasionally use those sites but that is only when the game isn’t shown in my area and so the NFL app doesn’t have them available to me.

Good luck man.

I often suggested, for at least during football season. That a thread should be stickied for streaming sites. Ones that actually work.
And include info such as the NFL app or whatever.
As every week, there are threads and especially the game thread itself. Fans asking where to stream.

As to the pop ups, I used google chrome before and there is a google pop up ad blocker you can use.
I never had issues watching Cowboys games, as I live 7 miles from the stadium. But I liked to watch other games, and not the local ones at times.

I never had too many issues. Once in a while an ad popped up, but not annoying as without the ad blocker. It was more frustrating when it froze or lost connection. Not to mention at times like a 3 minute delay.
I do this for when I did not have NFL ST and when I did not want to pay for it. Which I have not for the last 7 years. I got it free for 4 of those years. The other times I watched on computer or just settled for the other local games.

And, I imagine that you can put the app on a smart TV, although I haven’t done it myself.

Thanks for the reply!! The more I thought about it, I did successfully use the NFL app last year. There was another app that had a similar name that I tried & was way more trouble than it was worth. At least I couldn't figure out how to get it to run smoothly. I decided it was a shady app, probably not safe & quickly deleted it.

I need to look into getting the app on Smart TV before the season begins. That would remove one layer of the equipment. Thanks Again!!

I know it varies geographically, but an above average over the air antenna should get you NBC.

You shouldn’t trust any 3rd party site for streaming any games. You’re sure to get malware at the best and probably worse things will happen.
