Yep. Lamb is already #2 and is penciled in to take over from Cooper at #1 in a few years. Other players can take the punts. I bet, though, that they break out Lamb for punts in big moments, Deion style. Jerry is an entertainer too.

not often, but dunbar got a knee injury, he was never the same after that.
another cowboy got hurt before that cant remember who.

I think there is a greater risk of leg injuries on PR than on WR duties.

I mean he is a young 2nd/3rd WR so he is a prime candidate for punt return duties. You do not put a scrub on the job, you put out a good young player who is fast, agile, and can avoid tackles.

CeeDee will be fine. He's super slippery, decent speed, good strength, very smart with the ball and is a playmaker. Having CeeDee return punts is much safer than returning kickoffs for sure. Plus, no other Cowboys player has the return skills ability to take it to the house the way CeeDee does. I say it's a smart move for punt returns.

Jim needs to learn that they Cowboy way is to ignore defense nd spevial teams and try to win by scoring 40 plus every game. Plus Dak isn't going to break yardage records if we keep getting good field position.

Every extra net yard for the opposittions punter is another yard thrown for the 40 milion dollar man. Ceedee will mess up the entire formula. Jerry gonna fix this quick.

It could also be another yard to justify overpaying the average Ezekiel Elliott so badly.

Can't find numbers dangit.. The only thing I found and take this with a a grain of salt was on a 1077 plays 11 penalties were called for an injurie on a punt return. That's all I got.
