Pollard has been a great disappointment as a kickoff returner.

I think a lot of his bad decision making has to do with being frustrated by his limited role on offense. He's taken several out of the end zone trying to make a play that he shouldn't have.

I side with the thinking that football is a man's sport and you take your best swing at it rather than holding back because you're scared and want to be safe.

I don't want to watch the playoffs wondering if we should have played our entire hand.

I'm actually intrigued with the idea of Prescott returning kicks. And maybe being the gunner too. Worth a look.

What's it going to be then, eh?

why not?

hes great at it you use the best players for each postion. Worrying about inujuries is futile..he did it last year and in college and we have 3 quality wrs..let it fly..

im betting if AC loses any Significant RS games time etc they wont use CD unless its IN pivotal moments..

Oy vey.

Fans of this team boggle my mind sometimes.

Fans complain that there isn’t enough full contact and hitting in practices and training camp.

And then when we play real games, these same fans complain that we shouldn’t risk injuries to players by actually playing them.

You play to win the game people! Put the best players out there. I loved watching Deion return punts (who was a much better and valuable player than freaking Ceedee Lamb). You use every competitive advantage that you can.

I think that not touching the ball on offense is causing him to try to make a play when it isn't there on special teams. That's the only explanation I have for why he took several of those balls out of the end zone last year. He's pressing to make plays.

Basically this is Zeke's fault, is what I'm saying.

I just think of those particular returns as complete screw ups by him. You are getting all deep with this.

Well Robbie. If we can go 8-8 with ceedee not returning punts. Then mission accomplished

It needs to be a situational thing.

I used to get so upset that they would not let Dez return punts when he was most likely the best return man in football.

not often, but dunbar got a knee injury, he was never the same after that.
another cowboy got hurt before that cant remember who.

I think there is a greater risk of leg injuries on PR than on WR duties.
Ehh.....was Dunbar really never the same though?

I really don't like this idea, unless its the Super Bowl or maybe a playoff game for a spark to motivation. Putting CeeDee in as a punt returner over a full season is certain to pile up his injuries, needlessly. It's going to be so easy to drive down the field with 3 superstar WR's, and a power running game, why jeopardize that? Mediocre field position is not going to matter with the supercharged passing game, paired with a devastating running game. Dak was part of 40 point games last season, that will continue this year.

yeah, don't really like the idea of CeeDee as the starting PR. Too much of a chance for injury with a bullseye on his chest. Maybe late in the game needing a good return. oh well, what do i know? just say i warned you Cowboys.
Hopefully it’s situational and not just everytime

I would only use CeeDee as a returner if he is fielding the ball 60 yards or closer to pay dirt, or as a timely attempt to flip field position, or grab some momentum.

Leave the run of the mill return opportunities to someone else please
