Calling a spade a spade is appropriate regardless of who is being discussed. I guess some people have to convince themselves they are a fan by being overly positive instead of sharing an honest opinion and assume others aren’t that great of fans if they do.

I think most everyone here hopes the teams wins and root for them but many lack confidence they will. Nothing wrong with that. Not sure why it is bothersome but to others.

On the flip side, I don’t see why others go out of their way to crap on someone else’s enthusiasm. Let them wear rose colored glasses unless they fire the first shot.

You just aren’t old enough to be worn down yet. I support the team too and have since 1967 when I cried as a little boy from Buffalo NY over the Ice Bowl.

But Jerry has taken the love of my life and made it an acquaintance. I still watch, I buy the occasional jacket and I’m on here checking in but in every way it’s not the same.

There should be consequences for being inept for 25 years and caring more for the entertainment value of a franchise than winning, but the only ones paying for it are the fans.

I respect your passion but it has limits - trust me. Check back in 20 years.
