It doesn't speak to the depth, because we've known this whole offseason that the backups at this position are trash

I think it deals to Hooker’s own health and condition and nothing more. He wasn’t ready for football during his initial visit and now the Cowboys are checking in at the start of camp to see if that has changed.

At this point the signing of Hooker makes sense and is a must try move, but the FO put the team in this situation at FS for multiple years... it's on them.

I was only speaking of Hooker as that was what this thread pertains to, not Kazee. That said, BOTH have much to prove in terms of health.

SS : Wilson, Kearse

Thompson or Kearse make the final roster for special teams. My bet is Thompson
