A common complaint about Dak is he is horrible in the redzone

As you can clearly see from my chart they attack EVERY aspect of the field. Your theory is not only completely laughable, but has been proven completely false. Even when presented with a Dak passing chart you still cry about the same nonsense.

The problem is you are using data to support an argument that hasn't been made. This thread is discussing the Red Zone, not the entire Field. Your chart supports the idea that they do not throw TD passes over the middle inside the 10 yard line and very few (2) total in the red Zone.. that is what your chart shows. It does show completions of 10 yards or less but we have no way of knowing which ones are in the red zone if any of them even are. Pretty chart and can be useful in a different thread perhaps but totally useless in this thread.

I’ma big dak fan but this thread is actually going to backfire pretty hard

why don’t you look at dak inside the 10 yard line from the same source you just listed...ouch

Ha,ha, ha, ha,...exactly just would not fit his narrative i guess. I also can think of a lot of other reasons, but i digress. He got paid and we gots to live with it. So now he better put up or shut up. And be more consistent against good teams would help too.

your point is correct in your context. RZ failure can't all be put on Dak, play selection also has a bearing.

Who is reading the defense, calling the audible, and ultimately choosing the actual play to execute?

OC gives choices, QB reads defense, chooses one of the two (usually) plays the OC recommends. Dak chooses the play actually executed.

OC calls the plays. IF Dak sees a defense not suitable for that play then he can change it. You make it sounds like he changes every play called which is the farthest thing from the truth. But it does fit your agenda so I understand why you stated it.

Your chart shows that we are unable to attack the middle of the endzone from in close. Obviously, that makes us easier to defend in those situations. At least to anyone with a clue.

Thanks for once again proving my assertions.

Its clearly shows we attack from anywhere and everywhere. Your point is laughable.

Im arguing with Vit, on this thread not about this thread.

Dak ultimately ‘calls’ the play. He reads the defense and chooses the play almost 100% of the time. Very few times where HC/OC mandates a certain play. Just the facts.

That's bull**** and you know it. They don't run an RPO every single play.

Somewhat. The OC usually gives 2 plays 1 running, 1 passing.. and they do a check with me, so when they get to the line, the QB calls the play, he then will call the blocking scheme, he will decide which side to run the ball, etc all based on the D. So it's not really changing the play - they do that some too but it is really about trying to set the play up for success, that is done by the Qb once he is at the line. Some exceptions - 2 minute drill, quick counts, etc.

What? OC usually calls one pass and one run. Could be two pass plays, could be two run plays. The QB reads the defense and chooses to run or pass based on the defense. The QB reads the defense and delegates who is the hot read, who is the safety valve. The QB positions the RB, TE, and WR before the play.

The only thing this guy is changing is which direction he will eventually try to run into the endzone!
Passing is a no-no for Panic Dak in the Red-Zone!

This is the 2nd time in like the past week that he has posted something he thought made Dak look good when it really didn't at all lol

What makes it worse is his use overuse of laughing emojis. He hasn't even accurately identified what he is arguing against and, even after being told, still doesn't realize his chart proves his debate opponent's (@Vtwin) point. It's comical and sad at the same time.
It's just like that kid that knows he's wrong, so instead of just admitting it they double down and overly continue to try and make their points just out of spite.

He knows he's wrong. He'll never admit it though, because that takes self awareness and maturity.

In a "what have you done for me lately" league, what is the record of the Dallas Cowboys in their last 17 games with Prescott under centre?

Let me be sure that I understand you. You don't acknowledge rushing tds? Are they more worthy if they're passing tds? What's wrong with the qb rushing for a td?
