If you were around the high school coaches I played under, being called a "wuss" was kind. I grew up during a time when there was no such thing as participation trophies or worrying about hurt feelings. Football was for the toughest and the meanest. If you couldn't mentally and physically handle that, you were forced to either play tennis or quit Athletics and go play band instead. Old school era of Hard Knocks and no time for baby sitting. Not like today.
I played old school ball and was a choir boy also

I mean at some point we have to stop with the feelings and the storyline and admit the guy's crippled and get him the hell off the team.

Every snap he gets this season is a lost opportunity. Jabril Cox will barely play this year because of this nonsense.

Possibly my 2nd most hated Cowboys player of all time.

Jerry needs to get a 'Clear, Eye, View' and find a trading partner ASAP.

Get as much as you can for Jaylon Smith before he exposes himself clear out of any trade value.
anybody potentially interested in him knows exactly what he can give it at this point, which begs the quesitons why would anybody give anything up for him and expect a return?

He's not tradeable. The guy shouldn't be in the league. Which is just the harsh reality of having to play on one leg.

Giving him a 2nd contract is one of the most damning pieces of evidence that this front office, including Will McClay, doesn't have the slightest clue of what they're doing.

The second contract smells of Jerry 100%, along with the drafting of him. It is too bad as we all loved the story, and hoped for the best. Sadly this cannot end soon enough. Jaylon knows this...

Someone in the FO is determined to make this bust a diamond in the rough. And to excuse the high draft and contract.
