lol a new contract after 2 seasons of play. Not very smart at all. How can it be considered a good move when it's just so ridiculous today? It was terrible. That's not revisionist. He should've never been drafted!

new contract after his 3rd season, that’s typical. It being ridiculous today has no bearing on it being a good decision at that time. Clearly revisionist

Oh he should have been drafted, come on!

He's not tradeable. The guy shouldn't be in the league. Which is just the harsh reality of having to play on one leg.

Giving him a 2nd contract is one of the most damning pieces of evidence that this front office, including Will McClay, doesn't have the slightest clue of what they're doing.
I wouldn't put it on McClay. It seems like a Jerry move - plain and simple. Jerry overrules everyone (See Bill Parcells and The Player, for example).

This looks like a drill to take on and go by a blocker. He just looked in too big a hurry to get off the block. The coach makes him return and deliver a better blow that will then allow him to disengage and move on. He was fine on the second attempt.

Honestly this is beyond pathetic. He is the highly paid stud MLB and can not beat a sled. He should not be on the team.

The stutter step is not for optics. He knows he can't plant hard and drive it into the ground. So he lifts up to get on the other foot.
I'm a gimp too...I recognize this necessary maneuver when I see it.
I totally disagree. His technique sucks. He come at the equipment with straight arms and upright. He comes through swinging his arms around like an idiot. He does this to make himself appear so violent. It’s buffoonish. His leg is fine!!! They would not start him 16 games and pay him 60 million if it wasn’t.

What's even more disappointing is he hasn't developed his technique or polished his mental part of the game more to help offset some of his ability that he lost. I would think a player would want to polish their game to be more cerebral after a devastating injury robbed you of your athletic ability.

Jaylon is only using his arm strength to try and push it. Watch the second video. Everyone else uses leverage from their feet and their entire body to relatively easily push it back. I'm not a Jaylon fan but I actually feel bad for him here. Its an obvious weakness where he can't plant and push off his feet
He's also hitting the sled too high. Everyone else is hitting it below the "arms" and Jaylon hits it on the "arms" every time. He just needs to hit it lower and at the correct angle. Seems easy enough to correct. I wonder why the coaches aren't telling him that. I also wonder why he is the only one hitting it that way.

I mean it was 3x in one practice. That is pathetic in high school let alone the pros.

Guys please there is nothing wrong with his legs. He is attacking the sled with his arms extended. The other come in almost head first arms bent and push through the sled. His legs are fine. His technique is terrible.

On a brighter note Parsons is huge!!!
