Less Dak has always made the Cowboys a better team.
I mean even last year we had a better win percentage after he left.
Do you seriously believe that?

Predictable is not a great plan
I do believe you can use the pass game to open up the run game
But if the D goes nickel I run and if they set to stop the run I pass
You have to mix it up and take advantage of mismatches
Do you seriously believe that?
Two ways to look at it.
He's never been a run guy. Never had this balance that he speaks of.
But he's never had a Tony Pollard either.
We shall see if he's serious. Right now I take this as him wanting to drop a few pounds.
Garrett and Moore are nearly polar opposites in their offensive philosophy. What are you trying to say?
He wrote the book on being predictableI guess Garrett didn't get that memo regarding predictability.
I find it so weird too. He was not known for fumbling in college. If i remember correctly. He didnt have a fumble in high school or college. I may be wrong thoughDak isnt a guy that typically has turnover problems. Zeke has NO excuse. He gets handed the ball and simply fumbles all on his own.
Both were playing from behind a lot too lol. Both got too pass happy at times.
lol which part?
2nd part I’m trolling but the Cowboys have been an average team when we stopped relying on Zeke and the Oline and started trying to win with Dak’s arm.
McCarthy has experience as a OC who will run the ball. He did so in NO with Williams and McCallister 2 very good RB, some of it comes down to using the talent you have, in Dallas he has a very good RB in Zeke and Pollard
In 2000, McCarthy was hired as the offensive coordinator for the New Orleans Saints That year, the Saints won their first playoff game in the franchise's history and finished 10th overall in offense.[ During the regular season, the Saints held a 10-6 record. McCarthy was selected as National Football Conference (NFC) Assistant Coach of the Year by USA Today in 2000. In 2002, the Saints led the NFC in scoring, with 49 touchdowns and 432 points. In 2003, the Saints scored 340 points—their eighth highest-scoring season ever. All of McCarthy’s four years with the Saints rank in the team’s top 10 years for offense.[ While McCarthy was with the team, the Saints’ offense set 25 individual and 10 team records. Joe Horn caught 45 touchdowns and 437 passes for 6,289 yards. During McCarthy’s time with the team, running backs Ricky Williams and Deuce McCallister both had a 1,000-yard season.[ In his first two years, running back Ricky Williams would run for 2,245 yards with 14 touchdowns. McCarthy stayed with the team for five seasons through 2004.

Big difference is this offense seems to be more belonging to Kellen Moore's handprints than it is McCarthy's.
Dunno if that is by McCarthy's design and decision himself or if it could've it been a deal between management
and new HC that Kellen stays on as OC.
Opinions may vary here but i really believe the offense goes as Kellen Moore goes. And the Cowboys offense goes through him, not McCarthy.
Easier said than done, for that to happen ,you have to start scoring early.
Cant snooze through 2 quarters and. Behind by 3 scores.
This has been a Garrett and Moore problem , slow starts . ( add that to red zone woes - FG instead of TD)
He knows this QB is not good enough to carry the offense
Rodgers was throwing the ball 600 times in GB when he was there
McCarthy is still HC he has a say in what he wants and expects from both Moore and Quinn. I'm sorry I am not in the camp that believes McCarthy has no say or is some puppet. I clearly can't say anything that will change anyones mind or opinion but for me I think McCarthy has a lot of say and in what is going on.
I'm sure the Cowboys missed the 2020 version of Zeke where he consistently fumbled the ball and his amazing 4 ypc average.
Zeke really deserved his massive contract ...
By title and duties as HC, i would normally think so.
But i have seen nothing in this offense since McCarthy arrival that suggests any of McCarthy offensive component, that wasn't already in the Kellen offense.
And i think he's lost stock and management's confidence in what he brought in as DC, to such became the worst unit in Cowboys history.
i believe if it was up to McCarthy, he would've brought his buddy and confidant Nolan and Tomsula right back into the fold again this year but a
irritated management (Jones) insisted clearly on certain, immediate front running defensive changes -per Nolan/Tomsula.. not McCarthy.
Just as i believe it was the Jones that helped him with the hire of Quinn, .not McCarthy.
And there are some elements and things he schemed and designed in GB offense, that i would have loved to have here in Dallas, but based off last year, i'm not seeing anything
close to that. - Does that change or will be seen this year in '21 ? .. we'll have to see.
Sorry, but i'm in that group that think he's' a walk-around HC, that clearly relies far more solely on his coordinators and specialty coaches than placing his own
finger prints and presences on the team.
