Truly, they were Tres Hombres and no one member more important than the other.

The MTV flags should be at half mast today as they helped create that.

I saw them the first time in 1971 and at least a dozen times since then and they never failed to be excellent.

A sad day, indeed.

He used to come into a restaurant that I bartended back in College, about twice a week(when not on the road) and always asked for me to serve him. I got to know him well, even gave me a 24K gold ZZ emblem to put on a chain.

Not the biggest fan but I did enjoy what I have heard. Actually they were my first concert. Don't remember the year just that the Black Crowes were the opening act.

One of the best trios you will ever hear throw down the blues. Good old Dusty, the bottom to the Top. He and Billy were awesome together. RIP, Mr. Hill and thank you for the great music.

I saw ZZ Top headline at the Memorial Stadium in Austin in front of 80,000 fans in 1974. It was a concert I'll never forget.
