When an organisation continually let's their best players walk and don't draft any wide receivers in the first round then that would wind up any QB worth their salt after 17 years.

and was Rodgers willing to take a pay cut to keep players? NO Rodgers made sure he got his and then wants to dictate who stays? lol BS.

Most do not throw hissy fits as Rodgers did and threaten to walk away. I would trade his butt and get what I can for him and move on. No player is bigger than the team. GB was here long before Rodgers and will be around long afterwards
Because they take on board suggestions by their QB!

Do you know that for a fact? He mentioned in the press conference that it made sense to arrange a new contract to spread his salary across a gradual cap hit.

Cavanaugh and Broaddus are literally laughing at him on the Fan today.

This kid is fun, I like him, but he should he selling insurance or something. He's not an NFL QB.

Hopefully, the charade that he's an NFL quarterback doesn't go on after camp is over.

Indeed.

Apparently he's thrown several awful picks today and at one point tried to throw some balls underhanded, like granny style. He's overthrowing RB's in the flat. He's missing everything. Think his most impressive throw I've heard about all camp was a 5 yard completion to Noah Brown.

But why would you cut a guy your QB thinks is the 2nd best WR on the team? He isn’t asking for input on LBers.

For all the discussions about how hard it is to find a starting QB much less a HOF one, you would think this would be a no brainer.

Gonna be awesome when Gilbert Grape is our starting QB against Tampa.

I know he's a great QB but he's so unlikeable

Zoners don't need to posting a rival's prima donna - strike that - prick QB strutting into his team's facility, espousing on his actions this off-season.
No way was Rodgers sitting out this season \ retiring after being selected league MVP - AND being in the NFC Championship game the last two postseasons. He's four months away from turning 38....did anyone really think he would forgo not playing for the Packers when they were steadfast about not trading him?

I can see Rodger’s point. He’s the one throwing the ball and if he feels like he knows where the guy is going to be and is in synch with them that may be more important than what the coaches or scouts are saying.

if Rodgers says he was their 2nd best WR and they cut him, that’s a big discrepancy of opinion.

That's nice.

Aaron Rodgers is a player.
