That’s really strange. Hopefully whatever it is isn’t a big deal.

Not really.. he has probably been overdoing it coming back off the injury so he went from not throwing for 3-4 months to a few days of light work in April and May back to nothing for over a month and now training camp. He needed to ease into throwing with full velocity and most likely didn't. Hopefully it's nothing serious but every QB that has ever lived has experienced random arm soreness for any number of reasons.. From sleeping wrong to bumping the funny bone getting out of bed. If it turns into a LOT of missed practices I will be concerned. If he's back at it tomorrow with no after effects I will not speak of it again.

Every summer, as I was growing up, same for many of us, as we started playing baseball.
My arm would get sore after about a week of playing baseball. Especially if anyone threw too hard too quick and often.

Even though we played basketball and football in the winter. Then not a lot of activity for a few months waiting for spring.
As it was way too cold outside other than if we sled down the hills.
However we did set up a small 2 on 2 basketball with a mini ball in the garage. Had a 55 gallon drum make shift wood burning stove to keep warm.

But that does not keep your arm from getting sore when you start repetitive throwing motions.
we eventually learned, let’s toss the ball around for a few weeks first.

I am not worried about it right now. But I wonder how much of his throwing motion is compromised by unconscious worry over his ankle. IF he is using more arm than total body for throws that could be the reason for the soreness.

‘Pay da man!’
‘$50M, $60M, I don’t care.’

Someone tell me Jerry is not calling GB right now.

Just kidding. I think he will be alright. There is a worry when putting too many eggs in one basket.

It's probably nothing, but the optics aren't good.

He got paid, he's coming off an injury, camp just started, and he's already having to miss practice over something that, as far as I know, he's never had issues with before. Maybe he has, but now he's gotten comfortable (AND PAID) so he thinks he can take days off when he would've just pushed on in previous years. I mean, it's arm soreness. I'm sure every one of those guys are practicing with some kind of soreness.

As I said, I'd wager that it's absolutely nothing, and will surely get overblown to be bigger than it really is, but it doesn't exactly paint a pretty picture.

I’m guessing most posters and criticizing fans on here haven’t played much QB. Arm soreness is a part of the position, especially at a higher level.

At any level.. Why do people think they ice pitchers' arms after every game they throw? Do folks think it just looks cool having an ice pack strapped to your shoulder? I'm happy they're being cautious with their 40 million dollar investment. If you are actually a fan of the team you should be as well.
